The nine athletes chanted in the practice hall to celebrate Taehyun's nineteenth international birthday. Technically it isn't supposed to be celebrated in Korea because when a baby is born, he would already be counted one year old and add his age on New Years even if his birthday isn't on January 1. Well, he's twenty Korean years old. You get what I mean.
After a nice practice session, the boys had pulled a surprise party for Taehyun and brought cake and cup noodles. They had also dragged the girls into it even if their maknae line had given him his gift at school. And although Yeji and Yeonjun would usually take up this time after practice for extra matches, they joined the party and even talked like the rest of their members. Ryujin with Kai and Soobin. Yuna with Beomgyu. Taehyun with Lia and Chaeryeong. Yeji with Yeonjun. It was pretty smooth. The kind of peace and harmony they had been waiting to achieve since day one.
"Taehyun-ah, I have another birthday present for you," Soobin said, looking up from his phone and disconnecting from Kai and Ryujin.
"You have more?" Taehyun asked.
Soobin flung the phone at Taehyun, he caught it then looked at the screen which showed a post on Instagram, belonging to someone none other than...
