Zain's pov
I stood outside purvi's house waiting for her to open the door, we all made plans to meet at her house but looks like I'm the first person to come... The door opened when I pushed the knob
What!?
I came inside searching for purvi, the couch looked comfortable and inviting so I jumped on it and started watching "friends" series that was already put on the television
After few minutes, my stomach made some weird noises... Food comes before friends, I went near the fridge searching for something to eat. To my surprise, the kitchen is filled with snacks and cold drinks.
Yumm yumm
I gathered how much ever I could in my arms, already one full chips packet stuffed in my mouth, munching, I started walking towards the hall.
"Haan, main use usake birthday par Randeep ke baare mein sab kuchh bataungi" I stood there confused, when I heard purvi's voice while passing her room "phir ashi use chhod degi, phir main uske sab kuchh banane ki koshish karungi" purvi said with a evil smile
Purvi turned to look at me when all the packets that I gathered stumbled down my feet.
"Zain.. tum.. tum yahan kya karhi ho?" She asked with shock evident on her face.
"Purvi ye tum... pehle mere peeche padi thi ab Randeep? Tum uske zindagi kyun kharaab karane ki koshish kar rahe ho"
"Zain.. tum galat samaj.."
"CHUP! Kuch nahi suna hai mujhe.. bas" I gave her one last stare and left her place..
...silently hiding one chips packet for later

Third person pov
Is she...?
He knows there is no way she can be pregnant even after taking proper protection but then they are not 100% safe..
"Randeep tum bahar jao.." before he could protest she pushed him outside
He stood leaning on the door, thinking of all the possibilities. He came to an conclusion that the dinner ordered outside must have triggered her.
She looked tired when she opened the door, she leaned onto him when he held her carefully and made her lie down on the bed.
"Kya hua ashi.." He sat beside her, patting her head
"Mujhe bohot chakkar aarh randeep...ahh"she let out a small groan holding her head in both her hands.
"Kuch nhi.. main.. main.. garam paani laati Hun, ruko" She didn't let his hand go when he stood up to bring some hot water. "Mujhe kuch bolna hai"
Randeep's eyes darted to her and overcome by impulse,he kissed her softly on her forehead "Main abhi aati Hun ashi.."
When the water started boiling, Randeep quickly surfed through google for safety percentage "It is 98% effective. This means 2 out of 100 people will become pregnant"
What if they are the 2%
Many questions dawned upon him like, Are they ready to take this responsibility? What happens to her career? She's just twenty two...
His phone rang just when he thought that he needed someone to talk with...
Zain
Who can give him better advices than his best friend? He quickly attended the call "bhaii, suno!" Zain yelled on the other side
"Nahi bhai mujhe kuch important bolna hai, suno!" said Randeep.
"Bhai ye bhi important hai.. mereko feeling nahi hai?!" Zain gave a puzzled look and said adamantly
"Pehle main.. bas" Zain noticed the urgency in his voice. He decided to let him go first
"Teek hai bol"
Randeep narrated all that happened in the past 20 minutes to Zain. He tried his best to cool him down "bhaii tu bhii na... babhi ne kuch kaaya hoga" he himself was confused and a little worried for his brother "Kuch nahi hoga bhaii tu jaa babhi k paas" He decided to not tell the morning incident, he knows it would be a burden for him and another worry will add his list.

He kept the hot water on the table and sat beside her holding her hand "Randeep mujhe kuch bolna hai.."
"Bolo.." He asked out of breath...
He loves kids, all he ever wanted is to have a perfect family with her. A beautiful family at the perfect timing but having a baby now is a nightmare, her career will be spoiled.
"wo...Randeep.." she stumbled on her words looking down.
He took a deep breath and decided to think positive. He held her face in one hand and made her look into his eyes "maina... bolo" he gave an assuring blink.
"Tum daddy banane ja rahe ho"
