Skylar's POV

After making it to Mia's room I saw Kinsley sitting on the bed next to three dresses. I walked further in and sat down next to her.

"What's going on between you and Jace miss girl?"

She looked over and smiled at me. The blush was evident on her face. She didn't even have to say anything for me to understand that they were together now.

Mia walked in and clapped her hands.

"Ok ladies let's get ready. We need to do our hair and makeup."

I walked into her bathroom and started working on my hair. This would be longer than anything else because natural hair is tough to work with sometimes.

I knew that I wasn't going to put on any makeup except something for my lips. They walked into the bathroom as well and we started making small talk.

"We need to take pictures before we leave."

"Ok. Skylar, I love your dress. It's gonna complement your skin nicely."

"That sounds nice. I haven't even seen it yet."

" Sky I'm happy that you are back in J's life. He is truly happy with you and this is the first time that he has been this happy in about six years."

I smiled to myself before finishing my hair and makeup. I walked out of the room and picked up the bag that had my name on it. I opened it up and saw the most beautiful shade of yellow.

I pulled the dress out and laid it down and took my robe off. I put the dress on and smiled to myself as I looked in the mirror. I grabbed the shoes and put them on. This outfit was pretty nice. I wonder who picked it out for me.

I was ready to see Jax and see his reaction. I heard catcalling next to me and turned and saw Mia and Kinsley looking at me.

"Girl that dress makes your skin-pop and it makes your curves stand out way more. You look sexy."

"I agree. If I were gay I would ask you out. Although my brother wouldn't be too happy about that."

We laughed and I told them thank you as I sat down on Mia's bed. Once they got ready we started walking downstairs. I was nervous to see his reaction. Once we made it down I made contact with Jax.

"You look beautiful."

"Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself."

He laughed and pulled me in for a kiss.
Elle ran out of the kitchen with a camera.

"Wait before you guys leave I need a picture."

We all stood there and waited for her to take the picture. Once she was done we all headed outside and got into our cars.

The car ride was smooth sailing but I had some questions.

"Where are we eating at?"

"We are going to a restaurant owned by my grandma. The whole place is reserved for us and we have a lot of security. Just to be safe."

I nodded my head and sat back. The car soon became quiet as we headed to the restaurant. Once we got there Jax got out and held his hand out for me.

We walked into the building and were led to our tables.

We sat down and waiters started bringing food and drinks to the tables.
