Chapter 21:Part Two✔️

Skylar's POV

Jax grabbed me and walked me over to a bookshelf and pushed it open.

"Go down there. Miles, Mia, Levi, and Kinsley will be there."

I nodded my head and kissed him. I speedily walked down the narrow hall until I got to a door. I knocked on it and told them to let me in.

Miles pulled the door open and yanked me in. He shut the door behind me and sighed. I could feel my hands trembling. Miles hugged me tightly.

"Calm down Sky. They will be ok. No need to worry."

He walked me over to a chair and told me to sit down. After I sat down he pulled something out and handed it to me.

"This is from Jax. He wanted to wait to give you this but right now seems like the best time for you to have it."

I opened the matt black case and came face to face with a Matt black knife and gun with my name engraved in yellow. It was beautiful but I don't think I would ever use it.

"It matches his signature gun. The color of your name is the only difference."

"Wow, this is too pretty to use on anything."

Miles snorted before saying, "yes it is but it sends a message whenever you use it. I also heard from Jax that it doesn't look bad when covered in blood."

I felt my stomach turn at the thought of blood. I don't think I would want to use these. I decided to only use these if I needed to.

One hour later

Jax's POV

My Nonno. (granddad)

Dead.

Those two words rang in my ears over and over.

Oh, my Nonna? (grandma)

She was missing.

I felt anger emanating through my body as my hand shook.

He was shot in the back of the head which completely blew his face off.

I grabbed my phone and called Miles who picked up on the first ring.

"Yes sir?"

"I need everyone to the meeting room now. Tell Sky to bring her gun."

I hung up the phone and cleared my throat.

"I need EVERYONE in this room to go to the meeting room. NOW!"

People started filing out of the area and went to the meeting room.

I could feel how hot my face was. I was furious. Someone was going to die today. I know that someone in the house had a part in this. I observed the maids as they walked out of the room.

One of them was very fidgety and nervous. I followed behind and walked into the meeting room and stood at the front. I saw Skylar walk in with a frown on her face and her hand on the gun.

She made eye contact with me and walked up to my side.

"What's going on?"
