Chapter 26

The day of the surgery......

They all say goodbye to moon before she heads into surgery.

Tom kisses her forehead.

"Good luck." Tom says

"Thanks"

They wheel her away to the operation room.

4 hours later......

She comes back to her room sleeping. They all hate seeing her in pain.

"Don't worry she's gonna get through this, Moon's always been stubborn but she's a fighter ever since she's been little." Jose said to Tom.

"I remember once when she was at her first soccer game she got hit in the face, but that didn't stop her from playing ever again she shed one tear, and kept on playing she really taught me to hold on to everything I have while I have it."

They both laugh. Then Emma and dan come in.

"She taught me to never give up on my dreams or on someone, after I moved away from my parents and I was homesick, she told me it's all gonna be worth it in the end of the day." Emma said.

"She taught me how to laugh when I was in my darkest times in my life, she really does know how to put a smile on someone's face." Dan said.

"Moon taught me to live to the fullest never hold back especially if you love someone and if you truly belong with someone you will always find your way back to them." Tom said.

"I have no idea what would happen if Moon was never in our lives."

"She truly is a angel on earth." Emma said

"We may fight a lot but she's my sister in the end of day and I love her." Jose says.

Moon starts to open her eyes. Tom walks over to her.

"How you feeling darling?"

"I can start to feel my legs they hurt but it's manageable."

"Like normal human manageable or moon manageable."

"Let's just say manageable."she says with a smile on her face.

" I feel like I have been hit by a truck."

"Well technically you were hit by a car."

Moon laughs

"Why are you laughing." Jose said

"I feel badass for surviving that I mean I do have a scar on my eyebrow now."

They all start to laugh.

"I'm just glad I made it out alive I don't know what would of happened if I didn't."

"Hey don't think like that, at least your with us that's all that matters." Tom said

Then doctor came in.

"Don't worry I'm just gonna check you legs to see if you getting some type of feeling in them."

He tapped small areas of her legs and she kept biting her lip to Hold In the pain and he noticed.

"It hurts right?"

"Yeah"

"That's a good sign that means your legs are like starting to gain feeling again."
