Chapter 54

Tom checks her forehead to to see if she has a fever. He gives her a hoodie and she puts it on and the smell of cologne fills up her nose.

"Well you don't have a fever that's for sure." Tom says in a confused tone.

"I just feel nauseous more than usual, I can't keep anything down."

"Do you wanna go to the hospital?"

"No."

Tom starts to get a phone call from his brother.

"I'll be right back I gotta take this, hello?"

"Hey Tom, we haven't talked in a long time how are you."

"I'm doing good, how about you?"

"I'm good, we should hang out sometime like we used to always do."

"Yeah definitely, what do you have in mind?"

"Next week, go see a movie or something?"

"Yeah sure, I mean I'm currently in New York but next week I'll be in California again."

"That's alright, I wanna introduce you to my girlfriend. So she might be coming along."

"Oh come on I don't wanna third wheel."

"Bring your girlfriend, we are gonna have to meet her soon either way."

"Yeah alright I'll ask her and I'll text you."

"Alright, you do realize that mom wants to meet her right."

"Yeah I know, I told her a couple of days ago and she was trying not to panic. She's adorable " Tom chuckles

"When are you meeting her parents?"

"Let's just say I will never be able to meet them."

"Why is that?"

"It's not my place to tell."

"Alright I'll talk to you later bye." Ashley says

Tom goes back into their room and cuddles in bed with moon.

"Darling?"

"Mhm"

"How do you feel about hanging out with me, brother and his girlfriend. He wants to meet you and I'm apparently meeting his girlfriend."

"I'm down, when?"

"Probably next week."

"Sure."

"How are you feeling?"

"Decent, I just have a really bad headache, nothing too bad."

"Do you wanna stay in bed all day?"

"Yes please." Moon says in a a sleepy voice. She places her head in the crook of his neck then her voice starts ringing she sees its Jose.

"Bitch what the hell do you want?"

"Well hello to you too."

"Whatever.... so what is it you wanted to tell me?"

"I-I have a girlfriend."

"Hold on- Wait what?" She starts to get up slowly. Tom looks at her confused.

"Yeah, promise me you won't go crazy."

"Too little too late, who is she?"

"You know her."

"I do?"

"Kendall Jenner."

She drops her phone to the ground and is in a state is shock. She picks up her phone.

"Since when were you guys going out?"

"two months ago....."

"What?! And you have the fucking audacity to tell me this right now?"

"This is why I didn't tell you because you gonna act like this."

"Me?! Your the one keeping secrets. You always expect me to tell you my shit but with you is whole different story."

"I'M NOT THE ONE WHO'S FUCKING DEPRESSED!. YOUR SELFISH, I ALWAYS PROTECTED YOU AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME?" Jose says.

"Watch that disrespectful mouth of yours, I'm the selfish one?! I never asked you to protect me. Instead of worrying about me worry about yourself, protecting people you love isn't about getting repayed. you know what i'm not dealing with your shit today, all i wanted was for you to honest with me."

she hangs up on him and throws her phone on the ground and tom wraps his arms around her.

"whats wrong?"

"jose has been seeing a girl for the past two months, and this asshole doesn't tell me then when it comes to me he always wants me to tell him everything."

"how do you feel about him being in a relationship?"

"i mean im happy for him, he doesnt really do relationships. I've actually met her before, she's extremely nice."

"Who is she?"

"Kendall Jenner."

"Ohhh."

"You have no clue, who I'm talking about do you?"

"No not all."

Both Moon and Tom laugh. She punches his arm softly and lays her head on his lap. He plays with her hair while she slowly starts to fall asleep. He picks her up and carries her on the bed. He writes a note to her.

I'll be back in a while I just went to buy some stuff. Don't miss me too much while I'm gone.
