The entire day had been gloomy. The constant fights, the several days of rain and thunder, the long, drawn-out days, and daily training, tuckered them all out. Aizawa had been teaching for what seemed like hours for the students, every single one constantly checked the time. As soon as the bell rang, as if in unison, every student stood up.
Hurriedly, class 1-A started to pack up to leave, laughing and giggling. Part of those giggling was part of a group of five, the nerds of the class.
"Hey, Iida-kun! Do you perhaps, er, have an umbrella? I forgot mine," Uraraka laughed awkwardly, pretending to have an ich on the back of her head. Watching Iida completely ignore her and walk ahead, she ran to Iida, grabbing his arm. Iida let out a soft sight and looked at Uraraka's pathetic pout.
He pulled out another umbrella from his backpack, "there you go." He handed it to her, escaping her tight grip.
Izuku laughed, "Seriously Uraraka-san, ya' really need to start bringin' your own umbrella."
"I didn't know it was going to rain!" Uraraka said crossing her arms, "Check the weather next time, that way we won't have to worry about it." She huffed, trying to keep a normal stride next to them all.
"Uraraka," Todoroki sighed, "you really need to understand that you should always bring an umbrella, Japan's weather is unpredictable."
"Ribbit, correct!" Tsuyu smiled, pulling out her own umbrella. Uraraka huffed.
Finally managing to get to the bottom floor of the school, Uraraka let out a happy breathy laugh. "I still can't get over how long the walk is," she looked ahead. The rain pouring down, lightning visible in the distance, she realized what the conditions of their home would be like.
"Oh my all might, we are going to have a nice walk home," Izuku sighed, pulling out his umbrella.
Finally leaving, they walked home their normal way, taking their usual short cuts trying to avoid the public eye. Finally, they all made it in front of their home.
A forest bloomed in front of them. The trees looming over it all, making it almost pitch black the deep they looked. The one thing that 'prevented' others from coming in was the chain-linked fence. It went down to the nearby house, before making a huge turn and disappearing. All kinds of vines covered the chain-linked fence, several kinds of weeds poured out of the cracks of the concrete, a small sign moved with the wind, the only thing holding it down is a chunk of chains. The sign read 'keep out' in red, almost like blood.
Uraraka stared at the sign for a second before smiling softly. "Hurry! I don't want to stand in puddles forever." She giggled, jumping over the gate. She caught herself, her body floating slightly over the ground.
"I love this place, more than anything else," Todoroki followed after her, using a thin layer of ice to protect his shoes from the mud.
"We all do, kero, that's why we picked this place," Tsuyu said smiling. Tsuyu hopped onto the fence, taking a deep breath, she jumped onto a tree branch.
Iida jumped over the fence and landed on Todoroki's ice, Izuku following him closely.
To them, when they were on their way home from school or on their way to school, it was the best part of their day. The forest was beautiful, they also got to see Ari. Ari was their adopted kid. She was adopted a few years ago, she had been found beaten to near death.
