So, what are we doing tonight?

"Please don't distract me, Frost," I muttered as I squeezed exactly four drops out of a pipet and into a test tube. "I need to follow the instructions Cisco gave me word-for-word if I want this dose of Velocity XI to work." I set down the pipet and looked at the crumpled pieces of notebook paper Cisco had given me, covered in messy handwriting that drifted in every direction. I smiled without thinking. He never could write straight. It used to drive Dr. Wells crazy.

Jeez, Caity. I was just trying to start some conversation. Your alone-time has started to get a little bit sad, so I was hoping you would say that you're going out tonight.

"Not tonight, Frost. I've got to make ten more dosages of Velocity XI by tomorrow morning. The whole team is depending on me." I sealed the tube with a metal cork and put it in the mini-fridge next to my work-station.

Okay. If you say so.

Just as I turned back to the chemicals in front of me, Barry's voice rang over the intercom. "Everyone to the cortex, we've got a problem on our hands."

"You know what that means." I took off my gloves and grabbed Frost's metasuit.

It's showtime.

"Meet Caroline Land," Cisco swiped up on the control center's tablet and a police file appeared on the screen. A young woman with brunette hair and striking green eyes stared right into the camera. "She was a student at CCU before she fell into the wrong crowd. She's been charged with petty crimes like accessory to robbery and aggravated assault, but never arrested for realsies. However, we just got wind that she's heading her own weapons heist later this afternoon."

"I'm guessing she's a meta?" Ralph asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"We know that she was affected by the particle accelerator, but we're not sure what her powers are," Barry said, stepping forward to stand beside Cisco. "But, whatever kind of meta she is, she could be a dangerous one, and we need to stop her."
