Eijirou panted heavily as he bolted through the halls, dodging knights and sevants alike.
"Where the hell is the King!?" He snapped as he burst into the knight's hall, sweat glazing over his forehead.
Most knights whipped their heads up, some with food in their mouth.
He held up the paper in hand. "Urgent news from Mina Ashido! Where is Bakugou!?"
When no one answered immediately, he growled and slammed the heavy doors before returning to running.
He wasn't in his room, the throne room, or even Izuku's room- the three places he had been since Izuku had gone missing.
"Whoa, slow down, hot shot!" Denki yelped after they nearly collided, turning the corner at the same time. "What's got your knickers in a tw-whoa!"
The red-head grabbed Denki's shoulders and yanked him closer. "Where is the King? Urgent news from Mina Ashido- I need to find the King now."
Denki gulped and pointed over his shoulder with his thumb. "Beyond the training grounds near the trees."
"Thank you," he shouted as he released his fellow knight.
Eijirou tried to go down the staircase two or three at a time, but he nearly fell so he opted to just go down as fast as he can without skipping a step. He darted outside, huffing as he ran around the stables and charged towards the training grounds.
"Bakugou! Bakugou!" He hollared once he spotted that familiar red cloak.
Katsuki whipped around with a glare. "Kirishima, what the hell?"
The Knight panted heavily as he skidded to a stop, bending over with his hands on his knees trying to catch his breath. "Urgent message..." He gulped, holding up the letter. "From Mina Ashido..."
The blond's eyes widened and he snatched the parchment. He read it over quickly.
"He's there, your majesty..." Eijirou raised himself up, breathing semi-normally. "They have him."
"When did she send this..?"
"Two days ago by raven."
Katsuki growled, crumpling the paper in his grasp as he eyes narrowed. "Get as many soldiers as you can ready... We leave for Endeavor at dawn."

Izuku lay quietly in Shoto's embrace, eyes closed and nose pressed into the Prince's chest.
"When did you wake up..?" Shoto asked, voice husky and deep with sleep.
The Omega smiled and tilted his head as he was squeezed and pulled closer. "Not too long ago... Good morning."
Chuckling, Shoto nosed into Izuku's curls. "Good morning, 'Zuku..."
Izuku sighed, relaxing into the Prince more. "You're warm... And you smell nice. I really don't want to get up," he admitted quietly, raising his head slightly to get his nose closer to Shoto's scent gland.
"I don't, either..."
They both lay still and quiet, both soaking in their last morning together.
Shoto knew this would only make goodbye hurt that much more, but he couldn't find it in himself to let Izuku go. It didn't help that the Omega let him hold on.
Finally, the sun warming up the bed, shining through the sheer curtains, Shoto pulled away.
"We should go. Ochako is preparing a full breakfast for you."
Izuku smiled and nodded. "I'm going to miss her, too..."

Far enough from the palace, beyond the treeline and in a beautiful clearing, Mezo and Tenya gathered firewood and stacked them, Shoto securing Inko's belongings to her horse.
"You should have plenty of provisions to last you about a week if you ration as planned," he muttered, strapping one of the leather saddlebags shut.
Izuku nodded, checking his own gear. "Right."
Shoto came up behind him, hesitating for a moment as Izuku's minty scent wafted into his nose. He gulped and grit his teeth. "Fasten all your bags," he murmured, securing a satchel to the pommel of the saddle.
The Omega looked up to him. "Sho..."
"Mm?"
Izuku raised himself onto his toes, cupping the Prince's face and kissing his cheek. He smiled. "Thank you..."
The Alpha breathed deeply, taking Izuku's hands and lowering them. "Be safe, okay? Remember what I said about the dagger?"
"Drive between the ribs and twist."
"Exactly." Shoto placed a gentle, lingering kiss into Izuku's curls and sighed. "You'll find your soulmate... Someone that won't care about your past and will only want your future..."
Izuku purred, eyes sparkling. He raised Shoto's hand, rubbing his cheek into Shoto's wrist. An intimate scenting typically reserved for lovers.
Shoto's heart throbbed as he watched the Omega.
"Goodbye, Sho," the greenette whispered as he let go of the Prince.
Shoto stepped back as he mounted, then looked to Inko, who was already on her mare.
"Goodbye, Izuku..."
"Oh!" Izuku gasped and reached to the sheath on his belt. He pulled out the dagger and raised it to behind his head. Shoto furrowed his brows as he watched, startled as Izuku cut a lock of curls from his head and carefully handed the bundle to Shoto. "Proof for your father..." He smiled.
Shoto gulped, taking the hair carefully. "Izuku, you didn't-"
"It's just hair, Sho," the Omega mused, taking hold of his reins. "It'll grow back." He waved with a grin, looking over to his mother.
The two urged their horses on, trotting towards the treeline.
Izuku glanced back over his shoulder, gaze catching the Prince's before he looked forward again, flicking the hood of his cape over his head and disappearing into the trees.
Tenya walked up behind the Prince. "The fire is set, your highness."
Shoto breathed deeply and looked to the slowly building bonfire Mezo stood by. "Right... Good... Now we have to make it look like there was a fight..."
