Siri x Cameron

Chapter 9

They step out into the cold, looking around for any sign of life in the neighborhood. It's like everyone go up and left. No Cars. No People. No Noise. Nothing.

They try the next door neighbors house first to see if they are home. They knock and wait patiently for an answer that will never come.

Cameron opens the door to find it unlocked. She steps in, Siri following close behind her.

Looking around, there's nothing out of the ordinary. Well, that is besides all the same shit missing from the neighbors house that her house was missing. It's exactly the same here.

I mean, it's just like the people vanished along with every electronic device imaginable.

Cameron heads up stairs to search for anyone who may be here, maybe just hiding? Siri heads toward the kitchen, on a mission for food.

She slowly climbs the stairs, wary of someone fucking popping out and scaring her or some shit. I mean this could all be some elaborate prank for all she knows.

She enters the first room to her right, finding a kids bedroom. Samanthas, from the looks of it. But there's no sign of her 9 year old neighbor anywhere. There's all her drawings and stickers everywhere, but no sign of the little grimy goblin who lives next door.

She moves onto the next room, finding the bathroom. There's nothing there obviously. She even checks behind the shower curtain like it's a fucking movie.

Finally, she heads towards the parents bedroom, hoping they all are all just playing a game of hide and seek and all choose to hide in there for some odd reason.

Yet again, she finds nothing but picture frames and dust. There's nothing there.

She shouldn't have expected much. There's just been so many clues pointing to "no one would be here" but she still got her hopes up.

She heads back downstairs to find Siri and help him find food and basically ransack her neighbors house.
