Cameron doesn't sleep a wink that night. She keeps going through what she's been though today. Going step by step trying to figure out where everything and everyone went.
She realizes she hasn't missed anything. There's no explainable cause to the situation shes found herself in.
How did Siri get her? He doesn't even know. He can't even tell her how he got here. No explanation to that situation.
Where's her phone? No phone this morning when she first saw the young man in her bedroom. No phone when she left the room. No phone in the kitchen or living room.
Not to mention the missing appliances.
Or the lights not working.
Or the lack of cars, people, or even dogs.
There's nothing. There's literally nothing in this world. She can't find an explanation to how they all could've disappeared or where everything went.
Even her mom hasn't come home. Sure, sometimes she's out late, but she always comes home and at this point it doesn't seem like she is tonight.
Maybe it's just a coincidence. Maybe her mom went out and told her and she just forgot. Maybe it's the weekend and she just forgot the day. Maybe that's why there's no one outside or driving around.
She keeps running through every possible situation but none seem like they would actually happen. Plus even if one of those situations happened, what's the likelihood of every crazy event happening on one day?
It's just not possible.
She spends the night tossing and turning in bed, trying to figure out what happened. She doesn't sleep a wink that night, trying to come up with some crazy story that she's ended up in.
She ends up being more confused now than she was earlier, having more questions than answers.
