It happened every night. Without an exception. When the dusk and dawn met, exactly there Perrie was returning home drunk as hell. And after three weeks Jade couldn't keep ignoring it anymore. In the first couple of nights, she didn't bother. It was all Perrie's decisions honestly; she was an adult. But at the moment the door slammed downstairs, sleeping or not, in the brunette's mind rushed the image of dead looking blue eyes. Lifelessness expanding from the pupil to the outer red side.

And tonight was regular too. She looked at her phone when the familiar noise from the first floor reached her ears.

3:48 a.m.

Jade was extremely worried and grateful that Perrie was at least returning home. In general, going out in London during the late hours was not the best idea and in Perrie's state... she probably was the luckiest person ever.

"Oh, Perrie." Jade sighed.

The brunette got up and shook her head to stop the slight headache. She sleepily dragged her legs downstairs. And once again regretted for seeing this.

Perrie was cross faded; heavily wasted and high.

"Perrie." Jade called her but the blonde was not even close to responsive.

Just when Jade was about to hold her face to meet the blue eyes, her hands abruptly took a different direction. Wrapping around Perrie in an unsuccessful attempt to keep her in place. Out of nowhere, her numb figure decided to drop on the floor, or more accurately, on top of Jade. Instinctively, Jade's arm covered Perrie's ribs first, not caring that the rest of her body was smashed by Pez.

"Bloody hell." Jade groaned at the pain that racked her spine.

Perfectly. Perrie had blacked out. Her body relaxed above Jade.

"Perrie?" the brunette tried to wake her up. "Come on, let's take you to your bed at least."

This was entirely ineffective. Perrie was too hammered to react.

And as the weird act Jade put around the blonde; she remained under the skinny body. She wanted to brush the cold skin with her lips; and to touch again Perrie's stomach. She wanted this girl all for herself for the rest of her days... little she knew about the other women...

Anyways, the whole concept was so wrong. Perrie probably didn't like her, god, she was still suffering for Alex. And second, it would be disgusting to take advantage of her.

Jade took a deep breath to clear her head but instead the strong smell of expensive perfume and alcohol intoxicated her mind and she just hugged Perrie. Feeling the pain with every atom of her body. And suddenly the tears urged. Only if she ever imagined what Perrie was going through. The designer outfits and shiny jewellery in her insta pictures were bathing her in sunlight when in person, it appeared to be chains to a counterfeit life.

"I'm sorry that I can't save you." Jade mumbled next to her ear.

The only sign Pez was alive was the beating heart which was calmly pulsing against Jade's chest. How much did she drink to get herself into this condition? Jade thought about calling a doctor but remembered what Pez said the first night they met, and even tho she would pay her bail, the media would go crazy about a drug scandal. She didn't want to bring any more troubles on Perrie's head.

Jade brushed the blonde hair, the scent of coco joining the sweet smell. And this tempted Jade to stay in this position just a little more. Until her whole body calmed down and aligned with the fact this was Perrie Edwards. Despite the circumstances, this was the respected Perrie Edwards, the model who every magazine wanted on their cover and every brand wanted her as their ambassador.
