"Jade, talk to me, please?" Perrie was begging during the whole trip to the penthouse.
Since they exited the club, the brunette had shut and didn't give any attention to Pez. She felt utterly betrayed. Yeah, that was the best description. After Perrie promised, she fully intentionally went again to this fucking place. If it was up to Jade, she'd burn this club down.
"Jade, come on—" Perrie was hopelessly following her around the living room.
"What do you wanna talk about? Look at yourself. You are fucking drunk again. You lied. You fucking lied about everything. About the promise, about the kisses, about... loving me." Jade yelled.
"I didn't lie for any of those, Jade."
"Really? You promised to not touch alcohol ever again."
Perrie looked at the floor; okay, maybe the promise was broken but the other two...
"You kissed that whore."
"I didn't kiss her, I swear."
"But you fucked her." correct. "And you lied... you don't love me."
Perrie had her back leaned on the wall but suddenly dropped down and buried her head in between her knees.
Jade's heart shattered at Perrie's cry. The last thing she wanted was to see her little baby in this state.
"I just... I really needed you. The club is my only salvation when you are not around..."
"But I'm here, Perrie, I—" Jade continued with the high tone.
"You chose work... Despite, I have enough money, I don't know what else is wrong with it. I never put a leash around your neck about it." the cloth of the pants on her kneecaps wetted.
"I don't want your money. I feel like some brat or even a gold digger every time I use your credit card."
The penthouse echoed with Perrie's painful howl.
"You chose him over me..." Pez was hyperventilating between the sobs. "I was never enough for anyone..."
Oh god, did it really look like that? Jade tried to understand. While she had a loving family, nice childhood filled with so much attention to her, a brother, Leigh-Anne and the luck to not get kicked out of university. Perrie had only... money.
Maybe this hurt her enough. This was her limit. And the club was Perrie's escape... it could be worse tho.
"Perrie..." Jade sat in front of her on the floor and held her hand. "I will take some days off... even tho I started a week ago... don't worry."
Maybe, just for once, Jade will made a compromise. When she thought about it, Perrie was the one who usually neglected herself for Jade... now, it was the matter of time to receive the same effort.
"You are enough for me." Jade kissed her knuckles. "I love you."
She said it. And suddenly the butterflies were set free inside Perrie's stomach.
"W-what?" Pez rose her head a little to take a glance at Jade.
"I love you, Perrie, just the way you do with me." Jade delicately brought the blonde up. "Let me take my princess to sleep."
Fuck. Something in this nickname was making Perrie's knees jiggly. It was weird when she was not dominating over her lovers, but she liked that. Jade treated her wonderful, in the right way.
Life. Nothing lasted forever. As Perrie was finally happy, Jade left her in bed... she said she was going to sleep in the other room.
Pez didn't protest. She didn't have the right after tonight. But her soul craved more affection. Tiny crumbs of love. A piece of... Jade.
