*noahs pov*
At this point I'm just pacing around the room. "Noah calm down!" Finn yells at me. "I am calm." I yell back. "No, no your not. Your literally ripping your hair out." Sadie says. I roll my eyes at that comment and check my phone. I'm getting a call from Millie so I answer and walk out of the room.
Hey Noah, how's she doing?
I don't know she hasn't gotten out of surgery yet.
Your worried aren't you?

I can literally hear you pacing around.

I walk back in the room and as I'm about to go talk to Finn I hear "emma smith is done with surgery in room 301, Emma smith" with that I basically run out the door. "Noah hold up!" Finn yells after me but I ignore him. I basically speed walk to the front desk. "Are you Noah?" The nurse asks, I tell her I am. "Okay great. Emma's not awake yet but I'm sure she will be soon. Follow me" she says and we start walking. We get to the room and she knocks before opening the door. It was heartbreaking honestly. I just see Emma, not awake with cords hanging all over the place. The nurse on her side asks me a few questions. "Are you her boyfriend?" I tell her I am. "Okay great, does she have any blood related family here?" "Um, well yeah her brothers here u-um that's about it." I say nervous. I don't want her to ask about the parents. "Okay, how old is he?" "18" "okay how old are you?" "16" "okay what about her parents? Where are they?" I scratched the back of my neck, I don't know what to say! "Um well, the parents aren't here right now." "Okay when will they be? We need to talk to them about insurance." "They won't be coming." "So who's her legal guardian?" "Her parents." "They need to come then." "I'm sorry, they can't they just don't have a good relationship. it's personal okay?" I snapped at her. I didn't mean to sound mad but she wouldn't stop talking! "Insurance doesn't matter, it doesn't matter how much this all cost. It really doesn't. We have plenty of money to pay for the hospitals right here right now if we have to. Okay?" "And how do you have the money?" "I'm Noah schnapp, the famous actress? Her brother is Finn wolfhard, also famous actress? And all of our friends here, Sadie sink, Millie Bobby brown, jack grazer? We have plenty of money. So don't go around thinking we stole it." "Yes, sorry sir. I'll leave you alone with her and a nurse will come back to check on her." "Okay, thank you." I go sit down on the chair next to Emma. Her messy bun is even messier and hairs falling out, she has an oxygen tube, an IV, and her leg is propped up and there's bandages where I can see the blood. I cringe just thinking about it. I sit there for awhile and I put one AirPod in my ear and one in hers and play her favorite songs. After around 25 minutes the nurse comes in and fixes her oxygen tube and stuff like that. "Um miss?" I ask her "yes?" "Just wondering, why does she have an oxygen tube?" "Well since she is in critical condition and this surfer was very risky, we thought that would help just incase something did happen." "Oh okay!" And then the nurse leaves. Emma still hasn't woken up. So I kiss her forehead lightly and decide to go give Finn a update.
