15- going into surgery

*noahs pov*
After I realize Emmas asleep. I step away from the bed and start to head out of the room. " we will let you know when Emma is stable enough to see her." The nurse tells me as I walk out. I nod and say thank you. I walk to the waiting room where Sadie was waiting. As soon as she stands me she stands up and walks over to me. "so how'd it go?" She asks. I shrug my shoulders, "after you guys left the room she started crying, she was scared about going to a mental hospital or something." I told her. Sadie chuckles a little. "she was just worried about every little thing. she went to sleep easily without a problem though." I tell Sadie. "well that's good!" She says. I nod and ask her where jack and Finn are. "they are in the cafeteria, but I went up here to wait for you."She says. "come on, you need to eat or something." She says grabbing my arm. " you didn't get any sleep and you haven't eaten." Sadie says. "how do you know?" I ask her. I mean yeah I was up all night but I thought that Sadie was asleep. " I didn't sleep either. Im just a great actor." Sadie tells me. We both chuckle as we get in the elevator. "so I'm guessing you didn't sleep because of Emma?" Sadie asks me, "yep, you?" I ask her. She nods her head yeah. "but she'll be fine, it's only surgery to fix a deep cut, it's not like it's heart surgery." Sadie tells me as we walk out of the elevator. "true." I say. We then walk into the cafeteria. Sadie picks up a sandwich and throws it at me. "you better eat or else I'll tell Emma which will just make her worry more." She says. I chuckle and nod my head. I'm glad to have such caring friends. We then sit at the table with Finn and jack, "so how'd it go?" Jack asked. "it went fine, she fell asleep right away, she started crying and having an anxiety attack right before she went back but she calmed down." I tell them. "well that's good, did they tell you when she'll be out?" Finn asked. "not really they said that once she's out they will make an announcement on the speaker and that only one person can go in her recovery room. They said that when a patient wakes up they usually start crying because they want that one person. So whoever she wants when she wakes up will go back." I told them.

Jack throws a chip at me. "hey!" I say. "eat it!" He yells at me. I stuff it in my mouth. Sadie takes a sort some of my sandwich and shoved it in my mouth. Finn just laughs. All the sudden we start throwing food at each other and laughing. A nurse gives us a weird look. We all look at each other and giggle, then we stop.

We all then agree to go back up to the room. We walk in and there's a nurse making emmas bed. We say hello then go to our stuff. She explains to us that she's just making sure all the cords and stuff are ready for when she comes back to this room. We clean up the room a bit better and pick up the beds we made. Then Gaten called me. Gaten is one of our best friends, sadly he was filming something so he wasn't able to come on the trip to the cabin with us. I answer. "hey, Caleb told me everything! I'm so sorry that's happening. Is she doing any better?" He asks. "well she's in surgery for her leg right now but I can let you know how it went when she's out." I tell him. "okay sounds good. Tell her I said hi!" He says. "will do." Then I hang up. Sadie and Finn sit on the couch and start playing a video game. Jack goes to the bathroom, which I'm sure he will be there for awhile. I stand up and walk out of the room. There so many things going through my mind. I'm worried about Emma. She tends to be accident prone so I'm not surprised if something happened in there.  I mean anxiety can cause the anesthesia to act up. Or she could be in a lot of pain afterwards. I don't even know i just wish this didn't happen and I didn't have to be sitting in a hospital room with Emma.
