"Ewwww, you nasty the fuck wrong wit' you?" I asked Nahmir.

"This ain't nasty." He said dryly.

"You just messed up over my ice cream I don't even want it no more you can have it." I pulled out my phone.

He poured hot sauce on my ice cream and he was eating it like it was just the best tasting thing in the world.

"It's not nasty, taste it." He said.

"Bruh move that shit away from me, yo' mouth don't burn?" I asked.

"Dumbass, that's the point of the ice cream, the hot sauce just add a lil spice." He said.

"You was one of them kids that used to mix all that shit wit' milk at school didn't it?" I asked and we both started laughing.

"Hell nah, fuck you." He laughed as my phone rung.

"Who calling you?" He asked.

"Nana." I said as I answered the phone.

"Hello." I said.

"Um Hey Chantelle- Nana what's wrong?" I cut her off as I raised up.

"Langston just left from over here." She said.

I haven't seen or heard from Langston in months. Same way I didn't talk to Gabrielle I haven't talked to him. Part of me felt bad but like Nahmir said, I would feel some type of way if the roles were switched so I stopped. I never gave him a valid reason I just stopped communicating with him.

"What did he want?" I asked leaving out of the room.

"He was just asking about you and Naylani. He didn't seem right though." She said and it sounded like she questioned herself.

"Nana- How come you didn't tell me he was shot multiple times?" She cut me off.

"I- um." I stuttered.

"He said he was shot months ago and he called you but you never checked on him." She said.

"Nana that doesn't have nothing to do with me I've moved on." I said.

"Well it doesn't seem like he's moved on." She said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Like I said before, it seems like he's hurt by that he looked like a sad puppy.....he's looking for you." She said.

"Nana please tell me you didn't tell him." I said.

"Of course not." She said.

"Lock your doors and close the blinds." I said sternly.

"For what?" She asked.

"He's not right in the head, you know what just come to my house." I said.

"No, I'm not leaving my house. What I look like being scared in my own home. I'll be damned if somebody run me out of here. As long as God is on my side and protecting me I'm good. I've done no harm to that boy that's all you." She said.
