It was the next day. Chantelle and Nahmir were excited to see the ultrasound and find out how far she was.
"You know what I think?" She asked him as she cooked breakfast.
"What?" He asked as he stood behind her.
"We should get married." She turned around facing him as she put her arms around his neck.
Nahmir was confused. Chantelle said before that she doesn't believe in marriage. She thinks it's pointless since a paper shouldn't determine whether your love for each other is real.
"I think we should too." He agreed as he kissed her then Naylani came in rubbing her eyes yawning.
"Well look at whose finally up." Chantelle let go of Nahmir.
"Hey baby." Chantelle said as she walked over and picked up Naylani.
"Did you brush your teeth?" Nahmir asked and she began giggling.
"You a mess." Chantelle laughed beginning to walk to the bathroom. "Can you watch the food for me, don't burn nothing." She yelled going upstairs.
After she finished helping her they went back downstairs to eat.
"What time is it?" Nahmir asked looking for his phone.
"2:32 pm." Chantelle answered.
"Oh shit, we finna be late." Nahmir said.
They began rushing but at the same time they were taking their time. As time went ahead they were finally ready as Chantelle finished dressing Naylani.
"Go ahead to the car, I gotta get my purse." Chantelle told Nahmir.
"Nahmir picked Naylani up and went downstairs walking out the door to his car.
When he reached for the door handle he realized he forgot his keys.
He turned around seeing Chantelle beginning to walk out the door but he seen how Chantelle's eyes followed a car so he looked behind him.
Langston drove slowly as he observed what was in front of him and he pulled his gun out shooting at them aiming to kill.
Langston was determined to get the job done. If he couldn't have Chantelle nobody could.
