Poetry Collection: A heart is meant to love even if it breaks

Missing chemistry

I didn't show my tears

Cause it was weakness in your eyes

So I tried to be strong

I put my brave face on 

But sometimes it still gets me

And I cry clandestinely

I never showed my feelings

I never shared my thoughts

You didn't hear me anyway

Just asking for a pause

I was too much for you

Yet still not enough

Once you said you loved me

But now I know it's not true

Did I ever mean just something to you

Or was it all show?

You looked at me like I'm a burden

While you were my poison

I believed every word you said

Hoping that you might look at me like that

When you talked about yourself an that

I could be more than a brief romance

I should have known better

I'm broken but what does it matter?

Leave me in the dirt

Cause I don't want your help

Let me do mistakes

Cause I'm just human, for goodness sake!
