Poetry Collection: A heart is meant to love even if it breaks

Breaking

You never loved me from the start

You don't trust me

I was meant to have a broken heart

The thought of not being yours at the end

And I find myself breaking all over again

I know you mean more to me than I do to you

I let you go without even fighting for you

I watched you leave and just said okay

Cause I'm just your second choice

I said I don't love you anymore, you were my worst mistake

Even though it's not true

It hurts like crazy, I'm slowly healing

But I always knew you wouldn't run after me

No matter how slowly I walked away

I still love you but you're no longer what's best for me
