The soul of life

I wander through the streets

Have no direction, no affection

Where am I? I'm lost

I see a light

I want to touch it, want to keep it

But I can't reach it

It's so far away and I know

Even if I try it won't be mine

It's never ending

I can't escape

What shall I do? I'll admit my mistakes

I was weak

With hope lying in my arms

It's so near but it's too far for me

Cause the soul of life doesn't exist

Face the truth and don't try too hard

They're all lying, they're all lying to you

Cause the soul of life doesn't exist...

Running from myself

Trying to hide what's inside of me

I'm fading away

I'm losing

With every step I take

With every move I shake

With every look I break

I'm losing myself
