It's too late

It's a shame don't you think?

That we spent so much time wasting it?

That we were running in different directions

Don't looking back or asking any questions

We were blind to see

What was by our side (the whole time)

We try to push the reset button

But we can't reset our mess

We have to confess

It's too late

It's too late to lie about ourselves

It's too late to make the same mistakes again and again

I can't be yours, you can't be mine

It was like living on different stars

We were hiding who we really are

It shouldn't be like that

It should be easy

Smiling, laughing, loving deeply

When did we start pretending to care?

Is this all that's left?

A shallow affair

It's too late

It's too late to lie about ourselves

It's too late to make the same mistakes again and again...
