i was laying on my back next to george.

his hands were placed gently on his stomach as his breathing began to slow.

i looked over at his resting face.

he was sleeping.

i smiled softly.

i sighed.

i picked up my phone and turned it on, blinded by the bright screen.

i checked the time.

7:46 pm.

"it's gonna be hard getting you home like this." i giggled.

i didn't expect a reply.

he was sleeping anyway.

i got up and put all of the trash we made into a close by trashcan along with putting the basket in the car.

i went back and folded the blanket over george.

i kneeled down and picked him up bridal style.

i walked to the car and carefully opened his car door, setting him inside gently before closing the door.

i walked around to my side and got in, starting the car.

i drove half of the way home in silence before i heard a familiar voice.

"what?" george said, visibly confused.

"you fell asleep on the grass so we're heading home so you can sleep."

"oh. i'm sorry i didn't mean to."

i shushed him. "it's okay. don't worry."

i looked at him and smiled.

he smiled back.

i stopped at the red light and stretched my arms out.

i looked back over to george and he was on his phone probably on twitter or something.

i then realized i never looked at the picture of me he posted, or the video.

i shrugged it off.

i'll look at it when we get back.

then i suddenly received a call.

dream.

i answered.

"hello?" 

"are you almost home?"

"yeah, why?"

"just wondering."

"uh okay?"

"see you soon?"

"yeah, i'll be home in five."

"okay bye."

i hung up.

"weird." i simply said before driving again.

i pulled into the driveway and stopped the car.

"we can get the basket in the morning."
