Both Yeonjun and Soobin are sitting on the comfort of their beds, leaning on the windowsill and staring outside. They both looked horrible with puffy faces and swollen eyes due to all of the crying that they did.
Soobin thinks that he shouldn't have said those things to Yeonjun because, you know what? Why would he be harsh to someone he barely even knew? Just because he was raised up with parents that implemented toxic masculinity doesn't mean he had to hurt others. His realization was a tad bit late and already hurt Yeonjun.
Meanwhile, Yeonjun just blamed himself all throughout his way to his house and was still blaming himself until now, his pink unicorn plushie in hand. 'Did i go too hard with him? The words that I just spit out; is it too harsh?', says the thoughts in his mind. He seems to be debating with himself for a while, his brows now furrowed.
Thankfully, for Yeonjun, he remembers the homework that has been assigned by their English teacher, Professor Kim. Instead of moping around his room, he finally actually does something more productive. He needs some distraction anyway or he'll not function at all.

Yeonjun's mom, Yejin, calls him down for dinner. Fortunately, his homework was already done and he fixed his things neatly and put it in his bag before going downstairs, following the pleasant aroma of the food leading towards the dining room.
In Yejin's surprise, her son doesn't say anything while eating. Yeonjun just continues to pick with his food and only taking a small amount into his mouth. He usually exclaims and grunts when he eats his mom's cooking. Worried, his mother asks,
"Daniel, baby? Are you okay? Is my cooking a bit different from before? Ah, maybe becau—"
"No, mom," Yeonjun smiles softly. "It tastes absolutely delicious. Just like always." He sighs and takes his mother's hand and looks down.
"Mom"
"Am I really that different and disgusting?"
He looks up with glistening eyes, making Yejin surprised and immediately gets up to her son's comfort. Yeonjun embraced his mother, who was standing in front of him. He was silent at first but he's shaking violently and broke down into painful tears and sobs. Yejin sighed and ran her hands through the soft, pink locks on his precious son.
"Shh, it's okay baby. It's okay," Yeonjun looks up, his chin on his mother's abdomen. He shakes his head softly.
"I-it's not okay. Does being bullied look okay to you, m-mom? They say such h-harsh words to me when I didn't e-even done anything wrong. I think I'm the p-problem here, mom," he furrowed his brows further while sobbing. His voice cracked near the end of his sentence. His mother looked at him, her eyes also glistening.
"Choi Daniel, listen. I know you're having such a hard time and I'm sorry I raised you up like this. I j-just wanted you to be happy and content. I was worried that I can't take care of you with myself alone after your dad—", she sobbed, oh, so painfully, both crying their eyes out that night.
"P-please don't cry, mom. I won't blame myself anymore just please d-don't cry, hmm?" He said while rubbing his hands on the back of his mother, his voice airy and breaking. His mother just nodded and wiped each others crystalline tears.
"Go and take a rest, Danny. You have school tomorrow," she kissed Daniel's forehead and smiled softly. He obeyed his mother's words and went back up to his room.
'I'm sorry, my baby'
