From then on, both Yeonjun and Soobin ignored each other's presence for a whole week. It was like they never even knew a single thing about each other.
Yeonjun was simply doing a great job at disregarding the taller's existence. He was trying a bit hard though since he's always distracted by his train of thoughts while the professor was talking. He never knew it would be this difficult to ignore Choi Soobin's presence.
"Choi Yeonjun? Earth to Mr. Choi Yeonjun?" The professor looks up from the book that she was reading, her eyebrows raised up. The said male finally crashed his train of thoughts and realized what was going on. His eyes went wide and stood up.
"Y-yes, professor?" He questioned, voice wavering and fingers fidgeting on the hem of his school uniform. Soobin took a quick glance at him and looked with an unreadable expression, but with no hint of any bad intentions.
He basically feels bad that the pink-haired boy can't focus well in class these past few days.
"Can you give me a summary of what I just discussed earlier?" She lowers her glasses just right on the tip of her nose and looked straight at the fidgety boy.
Yeonjun's mouth continuously opens and closes as he doesn't know what to answer. Embarrassed, he looked down and scratched his nape. He has always been a great student and doesn't miss a class. He excels in almost everything and this brought his confidence down a notch.
"I see. Choi Yeonjun, you better listen well, okay? I'll let you off the hook for now since you look tired from daydreaming. You may sit down."
That was just a part of a series of what happened during the weeks time for Yeonjun.
Soobin, meanwhile, tried to brush things off and act normal, but still gave a cold shoulder to Yeonjun. He tried to hang out more with his circle of friends, now including Taehyun and Hueningkai as Beomgyu got close with both of the boys.
He tried to laugh it off with one of Kai's awful and corny jokes and forced himself to be fascinated by Taehyun's amazing magic skills. He also tried to preoccupy himself by doing nothing else but homework and projects. Being an art student, Soobin also painted artworks and drew sketches that helps him clear his mind even for just a while.
Beomgyu being Soobin's best-est friend, noticed the sudden change on Soobin's behavior. He also saw his friend in the music room alone, which he rarely does, filling the empty space with pleasant melodies. Beomgyu just sighed and decided to confront his friend soon enough, hoping that everything's okay.

The weekdays waved goodbye and people welcomed weekends. It was now Saturday morning and Yeonjun was glad that he finally got some time to rest his pretty little head from schoolworks. He woke up with an uplifting mood , drew the curtains open and did his morning routine.
He saw his face on the bathroom's mirror; puffy, with some marks on it, a sign that he had a good night's sleep. One thing that stood out is his, now faded, pink hair. He used to love dying his hair with vibrant colors before. He had royal blue and even a neon yellow hair back when he was in Highschool.
He smiled sadly and touched his light pink locks. Now that things are a bit different and rough for him, even though he doesn't want to do it, he needs to anyway. He needs to do this for him to stop getting groundless hate.
When he was done prepping his face in the morning, he greeted and asked permission to her mom. Yejin let his son go as she knows that he needs to have a little bit of time to unwind and relax from the stress that he was having. She pecks Yeonjun on the cheek and wished for his safety off and on the way home.
Yeonjun arrived at a drugstore and went to a specific isle, containing the product that he's finding. He grabs it and walks to the counter, smiling lightly and gives the specified amount that the cashier just announced.
He walked back home, taking light strides on the pavement, seemingly enjoying the refreshing air hitting his physique gently.
When Yeonjun arrived back into his own abode, he immediately dashed into the bathroom.
"Oh, how I will miss you, my sweet pink locks."

The next stop for Yeonjun's plan for today is at the mall. He decided to go and shop for some new clothes for a change. He carefully scanned boutiques and well-known stores but his budget wasn't enough so he settled with the clothes located in the department store.
Going to the men's area, he slightly grimaced on how dark and boring the garments are. He preferred much more brighter and colorful pieces of wardrobe, but he held himself back as he was trying to make a change for his own 'good.'
He greeted his mom at home with paper bags on either sides of his arms, shocking Yejin but still allows him to treat himself because he rarely does that and he seems so down these past few days. He went upstairs, off to organize the pieces of wardrobe that he got.
Putting the last shirt in his cabinet, he stretches his body, satisfied on how clean and sort out his clothes are. He went to the pastel blue speaker that he got on his bedside table and fiddled with his phone, connecting the said speaker to it.
He warms up first by stretching his limbs carefully and picks a song. He also set up another phone of his to record himself and post it in his other, pretty well-known account. Nobody seems to recognize him as he always wears a bucket hat and a mask while filming himself.
Feeling the rhythm flow throughout his body, his adrenaline rushes rapidly as his figure moved automatically with the music. His body hits every single beat that the music emits, making him satisfied and made his moves look more powerful than before.
The thumps that his feet were making, his shirt rustling by the swift movement of his body and the feeling of his sweat trickling down his temples are such a healing thing for Yeonjun. Though dancing is a bit difficult, he found joy and satisfaction in it.
The song comes to an end as he strikes the ending pose, breathing heavily through the mask that covers his wide smile. A smile so genuine and pure. He stops the video and made contact with the ground, resting and relaxing for a bit before grabbing a towel and wiping his sweat off.
He took a refreshing shower and spent the time bonding with his mother while watching a Netflix series.
Yeonjun never knew that dancing would give him this much comfort and joy before, and now dancing is like his very own best friend that consoles him whenever he needs solace and comfort.
