Excruciating pain.
Yes, that's what Soobin is feeling right now while walking down the path to their humble abode. Annie apparently refused to walk alongside her uncle so she's accompanying Yeonjun instead. Hearing giggling in the background, he looks back to see Annie in the arms of a total stranger, who was somewhat enjoying the conversation between Soobin's niece. Soobin let out a brief, curt smile that faded the next second. He looked straight ahead and rolled his eyes.
You know when you look at a person and for some unknown reason, it gets your blood boiling at a high rate? Yeah, exactly.
On the way home, Yeonjun walks behind Soobin, his ignorant-looking back towering over the two of them. He matches his pace with Annie's and checks on her from time to time. Looking from a distance, he wonders as to why the taller acted in a rudely manner even when someone helped him from potential injury. It made him overthink of groundless thoughts of his peculiar appearance and how he is considered as a 'freakish' human being.
Breaking free from the spiraling thoughts in his mind, the girl beside him suddenly halted. "Mister Yeonjun!", Annie exclaimed while making grabby hands at Yeonjun. He smiled and lifted her up into his own arms, her weight is seemingly light considering she's a kid.
Annie keeps on staring at Yeonjun while admiring how cute and good-looking this stranger looks. She's always have been seeing her uncle as a manly type of guy and it's interesting for her to know that men can also wear cute types of clothes and accessories. The staring unexpectedly became a game for the two with Yeonjun letting Annie win by blinking voluntarily.
"I won! Haha, take that Jjunie!", she made finger guns and shot it at the pink-haired man who laughed and giggled, pinching the little girl's cheeks.
"Did you just give me a new nickname?" He questioned as he heard a cute nickname that fits him.
"Maybe I did! Is it cute? Do you like it?", her eyes beam expectantly.
"Absolutely, Nini!" Yeonjun gigled and pinched her soft cheeks once again, caressing it lightly afterwards. His mood immediately shot up by just a single, innocent child whose uncle was the rumored trouble maker Choi Soobin at the school campus.
He felt a pair of eyes on him while joking around with Annie. He looked forward to see Soobin's brief but genuine smile that decorated his face perfectly. The taller quickly washed the expression off of his face and turned around, walking silently to his own home.

Soobin and Annie arrived in her uncle's sweet abode safe and sound, the taller offering to remove the little girl's shoes as she was having trouble with it. She cutely said a 'thank you' to her uncle and pecked his cheek. Smiling, Soobin ruffled her hair lightly and went upstairs to take a quick bath, letting Annie play at the living room. Stripping off of his clothes, he enters the bathroom without knowing that the windows were open.
After a refreshing and cooling shower, he dressed up in only a pastel pink boxers with strawberries printed on it, revealing his toned abdomen, his hair still damp from the bath. He's always been wearing these types of designs underneath his menacing, tough and intimidating style of fashion, figuring that it won't be visible to others anyway,
except when the windows are open.
Walking downstairs, he sat on the comfort of his couch and let his head fall upwards and face the ceiling, waiting for his sister to fetch her daughter.
Sighing, his mind wandered off to the man he met earlier. It's fascinating how he's never met Yeonjun before even though they are attending in the same exact school and major. Grimacing, he thought of the guy's pink, cotton candy-like hair and his cute butterfly and flower pins, in which Annie possesses one of it right now. Soobin admits to himself that he's envious of how Yeonjun can express himself well, knowing that people can judge rather harshly, making him mad that he can't be who he really wants to be.
Society can be pretty shit sometimes and Soobin is afraid of being judged and rejected.
The doorbell suddenly rang, resonating through Soobin's thoughts and cutting him off from it. Bringing Annie near the door while shouting, "The door is open, Arin!." The little girl ran up to her mother as she opened the door, picking her up from the ground and embracing her.
"Here you go, you idiot. I brought you some food. I bet you're exhausted.", Arin shoved a bag of McDonald's to Soobin, in which he accepted delightfully. "Glad you know it. Thank you for this.", Soobin smiled softly, a sight a bit too rare to be noticed by others. Arin nodded and smiled, mirroring her little brother's expression.
"We'll get going. Take care of yourself, okay? Don't be too harsh with other and yourself," the taller nodded and replied as he caressed Annie's cheeks. "I'll try my best," he smiled and waved as the other two left his house, leaving him alone for the rest of the day.

Soobin quickly ate his dinner, thankful that Arin brought him food for the night or else he'll die from starvation. He wasn't really a good cook, to be honest. After finishing, he cleaned up after himself and went upstairs to his bedroom, wanting to lie down and sink into his bed.
Locking his vision at the corner of his bed, he grabs the blue unicorn plushie that he found at a bench somewhere when he was a kid. The memories of it was hazy and he couldn't really remember the exact same happenings before but he definitely remembered how this stuffed toy made him happy and content all throughout the years. He found comfort from it and listened and respected his decisions and concerns when his family turned their back from him.
Soobin sat on the bed and looked at the window, the said plushie seated on his lap. Looking through the peaceful dancing of the trees and hearing the whistles of the wind, the window of the house in front of mine suddenly opened, revealing a laughing Yeonjun, a teasing smile decorated his lips. Confused and annoyed as to what he was laughing about, Soobin glared at the latter.
"Hey! I just want to say that you've got a nice pair of boxers right there! Where'd you buy them?," Yeonjun shouted and laughed hysterically loud at Soobin, who was heating up from embarrassment and anger. He hastily closed the windows, not forgetting to shoot up a finger to Yeonjun and shut his curtains.
