Shai’s POV-

The wedding was perfect. Just perfect. It was the best day of my life.

Theo and I are now on our way to the reception, in a limo. I take Theo’s hand and stare into his eyes.

“Theo, you didn’t have to do this.”

“I know Shai, but it’s just for you. For us. I would do anything for you, Shai.”

I stare down at our clasped hands, with me and Theo in our wedding outfits. I look back up and smile sweetly at Theo. He smiles back and I rest my head on his shoulder.

“I love you, Theo.”

“I love you too.”

(At the wedding reception)

Theo and I sit down to eat dinner at our wedding reception, near the California beach. It has a beautiful chandelier, with a great dance floor. It even has a view of the beach from the large windows.

As we begin eating, I smile at everyone around me. Theo. My family. Zoe. Miles. All of my loves ones. This can’t be real life.

We are eating, when my mom calls a toast. My mom stands and says, “I just wanted to make a toast to my beautiful daughter and her magnificent husband. Congratulations! I love you, Shai, with all of my heart and I wish you the best with Theo! I will be here anytime you need me. Remember that.”

I smile at my mom and she blows a kiss at me. She sits down and everyone claps. I keep eating when I hear a familiar voice on the microphone. No one called a toast, and that voice sounds familiar.

“Shai, let me just say my congrats! But I have something to say. I need you. I need you more than anything.”

I lift my head and stare at the familiar face in shock.
