Beating Hearts

Chapter 1

Theo's POV-

(This starts after my Sheo One-Shot, see a few posts back)

That New Years Eve was the best night of my life. It was magical. Wonderful. She looked as beautiful as she had ever been. My hand holding hers was the best feeling ever. Shai and I confessed our love to each other. At midnight, we had that perfect kiss. It's now March and we are at the LA premiere of Divergent. We have been trying to keep our relationship a secret from the fans but it's really a struggle for me and Shai. We love each other endlessly and always will.

As I get ready for the premiere, I think about our feelings. Ever since that night, I broke up with Ruth and Shai stopped liking Nakho. I don't think she ever liked him anyways. And Ruth and I just weren't working out. She would always start arguments and fights with me about Shai. It was pure dread.

When I'm ready in my tux, I head down to my hotel lobby. I see Shai in her pure gold dress. She looks stunning. I approach her and say, "Hey! You look beautiful."

"Thanks! You look handsome!"

I blush as Shai says that. She gives a short laugh that makes me smile.

We get into the car and Shai and I hold hands. So far, only the Divergent cast knows we are a thing. They are not going to tell anyone. This secret is way too important to just give out.

We arrive at the premiere and are instantly surrounded by screams. I give Shai a reassuring look. She seems more nervous than usual. It's her and I's first big movie and we have the normal jitters. I start to let go of her hand, but she grips on. "Shai, you have to let go. I'm sorry. They can't know," I whisper in her ear.

"Theo..."

"I know. I'll be by your side. Ok?"

"Ok, Theo."

She lets go of my hand and I give her the smolder look. She gives a cute laugh. We separate to go do separate interviews with fans screaming at every side. As I walk away, I see something out of the corner of my eye. I stifle a scream. "Shai..NO. This can't be good," I say quietly to myself. THIS ISN'T REAL.
