Theo’s POV-
She saw it. The picture. Before I could explain what happened, Shai threw the magazine at me and said, “I can’t believe that you would cheat on me! I trusted you! I hate you Theo!” I stuttered for words and then she was gone. I run after her before she leaves me and our relationship.
Shai’s POV-
I am in our car driving, tears streaming down my face. I make sure that I am driving carefully but I still think about what happened. The magazine. It had Theo kissing Ruth.
I thought that Theo was over her. Why would he do this to me?! I devoted my heart and soul into our relationship and then he just destroyed it. I am engaged to him and he has the nerve to kiss her.
Now I am in our car, leaving Theo without a ride. But I don’t care. I hate him anyways. But now I have to go somewhere. Anywhere because Theo is probably chasing me somehow.
I decide to go to my mom’s house when a figure appears in the distance. I drive closer but then I realize that the figure is in the middle of the road. I pull the car over because I don’t want to hit the mysterious figure. I get out of the car but don’t approach. Then the person walks towards me.
I panick. I figure its a stranger and try to get in my car. But I locked it and now I can’t get in.
“Hello Shailene.”
