"These are the ten Commandments that I shall give you." Nora says and her family repeats the laws in unison.
Are you wondering what's happening here?
Well... Mr. Aloha's beloved sister, along with her daughter who had just recently come out of the closet, are going to visit him today. The commandments taught by Nora, are so that the family wouldn't utter something stupid in front of their relatives. And she almost manages to convince her parents into becoming an ally. But... Some things take time.

Everything's settled and the family is all set to welcome the guests. The door bell rings while the eldest sibling swiftly runs towards the door to receive Aunt Anne Rogers and her beautiful daughter Lilly Rogers.
Lilly is just like her name- bright and charming. "Too bad she is not into men." Mrs Aloha thinks as she gazes at her.
"I missed you so much Nora..." Lilly says as she hugs her cousin tightly.
The mother gestures the aunt to come in and sit on the sofa, but Aunt Anne ignores it and seems bothered by her daughter's behaviour. "Ahem..." she clears her throat and remarks, "Is Nora your type?"
Mr. Aloha immediately laughs it off, "Even Noel has a sister complex, our Nora is just adorable!"
"What! No!" His son cries in embarassment.
"Belle, Susie, Diana... " the father counts on his fingers and proceeds to list Noel's past crushes, who -needless to say- clearly resemble his sister.
"But his girlfriend looks nothing like her-"
Mrs Aloha stops halfway as she realises her mistake, and her children look at her with their eyes widened.
Her husband furrows his forehead at the newly learnt fact. Many questions run through his mind but above all he wishes to not create a scene infront of his sister.
"- I hope she is a Christian" Aunt Anne smirks.
"Even if she is not, we can eventually convert her." the father snaps as he tries to convince that everything is fine.
"That's practically giving him the permission to proceed. If you are this lenient, both your kids will end up marrying non believers."
Mr. Aloha feels provoked by his sister. His wife and kids look at him anxiously as they expect an anger outburst any moment from now.
"You don't need to teach me, you should look after your own dau....g..."
Would all the morning lectures they received from Nora be futile? Would Mr. Aloha break his precious niece's heart?
He pauses to take a deep breath.
"Dog!" Mr. Aloha exclaims. "Remember the time we went for a walk and your little poodle ran behind a bush and hooked up with the street dog? My innocent wife was in much shock!"
Phew, that was a close one and was also enough to leave Mrs. Anne Rogers astounded. Mrs. Aloha and her children sigh in relief.
He clears his throat feeling proud of having saved the day, "Kindly look after your Dog and I shall take care of my family"

Long time no see! The whole point of this chapter was to portray how conservative & closed minded Aloha family is. Yet they are willing to explore and expand their views further. The changes are going to be slow, but they will surely become better humans one day.
