~ why hello there ~

--previously--

as he walked back to the gym all he could think waswhy was there a huge phoenix on the door, and who wrote that note??

-- fukurodani school gym, no-ones pov--

the boy walked back into the gym, ignoring the calls from his friends and went straight to where all of the coaches we're sitting down talking

one of the coaches noticed his presence

" oh, Hoshiumi, is there something wrong?" the boy just moved closer to the coaches and said

"urm i was just going for a quick walk outside the gym and i saw a huge sticker on the door, i think it was a phoenix, i have a picture if you want to see" as soon as the boy mentioned the word phoenix the other coaches stopped their separate conversations immediately to listen to hoshiumi

one of the coaches muttered under his breath, but it was still loud enough for the other coaches to hear him " could it really be what i think it is?"

then the boy spoke up again " oh and i also found this volleyball, it had this note attached to it" he said whilst handing the ball to his coach

after a few seconds the coach had gasped and just asked, "can i see that photo please"

he open his phone, found the picture and then passed it to his coach, the other coaches were now reading the note that was stuck on the ball

"coaches if this is what we really think it is then we're in for a big surprise, that's for sure" all the coaches were now sitting at the edge of their seats in anticipation, could it really be you, is the phoenix really around??

then a different coach spoke up "well we don't know for sure but i don't know what else to think, it all adds up doesn't it ?"

poor hoshiumi was just stuck in the middle not having a clue what was going on

he quickly bid his goodbyes to the teaches and made his was to some friends

"HEYHEYHEY what was that all about?" the loud one spoke

then a guy who had messy black hair started laughing like a whole ass hyena

"oya? hoshiumi did you get scolded by the coaches or something HAHAH"

he answered " no i just saw some weird sticker outside along with a note, when i showed the coaches they were shocked, they got all nervous and excited, it's like they were speaking in some freaky code shit,  i didn't understand what they were saying at all" the boys stopped to look at each other but just shrugged it off, nothing was going to happen right?

well that's what they thought

after dinner all the coaches had called a meeting with their teams to explain what the schedule was going to be like for the next week and a half

they were all sat down in the gym, every single coach with their respective teams

the coach of fukurodani started talking and thanking everyone for coming to the training camp

"so i would like to thank you all for taking time out of your weeks and coming to this training camp, as you all already know this training camp is a week and a half long, so practise your hardest and have fun"

--the girls team pov--

after getting drinks from the café it had been around an hour, so the driver took them back to fukurodani , by the time they got back they knew it was time for the boys meeting, the perfect time for their entrance

they could hear one of the coaches giving a welcome speech as they went into the gym through the back door quietly, luckily no-one saw or heard them

You wanted to give the boys a shock so as your team went into the gym you grabbed one of the stray volleyballs from the floor and tossed it up into the air just in front of you, you ran up to it and jumped, using all of your power you slammed the ball onto the opposite side of the court

BANG

the boys shat their pants all they could think was
What was that?

The ball you had slammed onto the court had popped from the amount of power you put into that hit
You just stood there, smirking
As the boys and coaches started to look back, your team lined up behind you and miyoko walked up next to you and with a smirk on her face she said

" we're not too late are we"

You had a mask and cap on so no one could recognise you and the girls Olympic team Hadn't been revealed to the public yet so all of the boys and coaches were confused, apart from tendou and terushima who could see their sisters

Coach nekomata spoke up
" urm are you girls lost, this is the boys volleyball gym"

Himari replied back immediately, with a smirk on her face aswell
" nope we're right where we are meant to be"

You got your phoenix badge out of your pocket and threw it across the court, aiming at the coaches, fukurodanis coach had caught it

He was confused at as to why you had thrown him that but then it dawned on him, that was the Phoenix badge, you were the Phoenix

You and the girls moved closer to the group of boys

One of the boys asked the coach, "who's that?"
The coach just chuckled lightly and then looked towards you
" it's amazing to have the famous Phoenix of Japan here, what brings you exactly??"

Your captain then replied
" well seeing as the Olympics are just around the corner we thought that we should introduce ourselves, isn't that right girls??" As soon as misaki had finished speaking the team of girls spoke up with a bunch of "for sure's" and "yeesss" some just hummed along in agreement

She then continued to speak " line up girls"
After lining up infront of everyone she raised her voice and spoke confidently " hello we are the Olympic female volleyball team that will be representing Japan this year, I am the captain omura misaki, it's nice to meet you all "

And then after that one by one the girls had stressed to introduce themselves, the bus still in shock but there were still three more girls to introduce themselves...
