~ acceptance ~

me, kuroo, bokuto, konoha, akaashi, kenma and lev were all sitting down in nekomas room waiting for the three third years to receive their emails

the whole room was engulfed in silence, all you could hear was the sound of a click every time the boys refreshed their laptops

my phone was propped up on a wall and was videoing as we speak, i needed to capture these memories whilst i can

three loud pings could be heard one after another and that was when we knew the results had come in

but none of the boys moved

i lightly shoved konoha who had his eyes closed "c'monnn don't be such a baby, i'm sure everything will turn out just fine, and if it doesn't then yolo i guess"

kuroo had now taken his hands off his eyes and spoke, even with his shaky voice "so guys on the count of three we open them up ok?"

the other two just nodded their heads slowly

"okay 3........2......1...."

they all read the emails as the rest of us waited here literally on the edge of our damn seats

all three boys looked at each other and then proceeded to look at us

at that moment i think my eardrums had burst

"WE GOT INN WE ALL GOT IN TOGETHER OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD"

now our whole group was up jumping together, well except kenma but he was smiling and giving out high fives

i was honestly so happy for them, now they're able to spend their university years together as well

after 10 minutes of screaming and shouting i remembered that my guys weren't the only 3rd years who applied for university

i scanned through my phone for kita's number but it turns out i never had it

i'll just call samu and ask him to pass the phone to kita

i tapped on samus contact number and waited impatiently for my brother to pick up

damn dude what the fuck is taking you so long that you can't answer me

finally after dialling for a while samu picked up his phone and answered my call

"hey (y/n) is everything ok?"

i could only barely hear osamu, there was loads of noise in the back

i'm guessing he must be with the teams then

"yeah everythings fine, is kita near you?"

he took a second to reply

"uhh yeah kitas here, can i ask why you want to talk to him?"

" no you can't ask just give him the damn phone"

i got no reply, but soon enough there was another voice at the end of the line

"hi (y/n) osamu said you wanted to talk to me?"

"yesss hey kita, how did your uni acceptance go?"

"i got accepted into my first choice actually, the university of tokyo, thanks for asking"

damn how many volleyball players are going to that university?

"wow that's amazing kita well doneee, we're all super proud of youu!!"
