~ side by side ~

-- on the bus // (y/n) pov --

me and tendou were the first ones to spot the bus with the number 5 on the side of it

i turned back to the others who were following behind us "hey guys look over there" i said whilst i pointed at the bus which was only a few metres in front of us " there's our bus quickly c'mon lets get on" and as soon as i had said that tendou grabbed my hand and we ran to the bus

one by one we all got on the bus and once we were all sat down the driver turned on he engine and without speaking started to drive off

"how long is it going to take to reach our destination?" you asked the driver and he gave you a reply , not taking his eyes off the road

"at least an hour"

then me and tendou grinned at each other and at the same time we shouted

" KARAOKE TIMEEE"

all the people in the bus agreed, even suna and then it started

it had been 30 mins since they had started singing and i wasn't going to let the fun die down so easily

i raised my voice so that they could hear me "okay i wanna sing a solo now"

the boys just cheered and i played a song on my phone

and that's how our bus ride went on

20 minutes later i could see water

i tapped tendou on the shoulder " tendou look at the water, i think we're going to the beach!"

as soon as i had mentioned the words beach his eyes immediately averted to the the window and when he looked back he had sparkles in his eyes " THE BEACHH"

we turned back to the people sitting beside us to tell them but it seems they had already heard us and they were all looking out of the windows with huge smiles on their faces

and around 5 minutes later our group was now standing in front of the coaches along with the rest of the groups

coach nekomata already had a drink in his hand " so before we give you some time to relax we're going to play some beach volleyball matches there are already multiple courts set up and each team is only playing one game so whoever gets the most points will get something at the end.. oh and also don't worry too much about rules and just play for fun i guess, make up your own rules okay, that's it"

and then after that he told us who we were all playing against and we walked up to the nets and started playing

we were up against lev, akaashi, sakura, a dude named tsukishima, akagi, daishō, makki and mattsun, reon and home boy daichi

since it was 10 v 10 we just played without any rules

it was pretty even but it was hard to jump on the sand so the tall bean pole, uh tsukishima i think his name was, well he kept on spiking the ball over my damn head

suna was also loosing his shit because of blondie

damn the ball was set to tsukishima again

as i jumped to block him i realised that suna wasn't by my side helping me

what a dick

but as soon as i said that i felt two hands wrap around  my waist and  pick me up

when i looked forward i was met with blondies face, i put my hands out and blocked his spike sending it back to his side of the court

i got back down to the floor and turned back to see who had picked me up
