Decoding The Message Of Amber

Chapter 13

***This is back in ambers POV ***

I keep looking down at my ring and it's so pretty, it's simple yet elegant, it's a silver ring with a heart in the middle and in the heart is pink rhinestones. the symbolism of this ring is what makes it so special, I keep thinking more of my future and I can't wait for it to happen, my nerves are gone, evan has done more than enough to make me ready for where life is going to take us, the speech he gave me while giving me this ring was the most heart warming thing I've ever encountered in my life, he broke down and it was so pure, and I can just tell he means it.
I pull into his drive way and shelley was outside and she approached me.
"Each of your cars just keep getting nicer and nicer amber" shelley says
"I know, my dad out does himself each time, Id seriously just have been happy with my old car" I say to her
"What happened to it?" Shelley says
"My mom took it from me, she is currently selling it" I say
"Is it still available? I'd like to get him something nicer than that old truck" Shelley says
"Yeah I'll give you her number and you can give her a call" I say
I then dig around my car and I found one of my moms business cards and I handed it to Shelley
"Her name is francine by the way" I say
"Well thank you amber" shelley says then she walked off into the house, I'm still sitting there just waiting on evan, what could he possibly be doing right now that's taking him so long.
I then find a tube of lip gloss in my center console and put down my mirror and apply the gloss to my lips,
I see myself in the mirror and I see myself in this nice bmw with these expensive clothes and nice phone and I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed, but grateful for how much my life has changed.
Then finally evan has appeared.
"Hello honey" evan says to me as he gets in the car
"What took you so long?" I say
"It takes time to be this perfect" evan says
I then looked him over and he did look extra good today, he was in a red button up shirt with a tie with mustaches on it, he also had on a nice pair of jeans with his vans.
"You also smell so good" I say
"Well thank you, let's get to school" evan says
"Ugh don't remind me" I say
"Whatever, school is almost done for us" evan says
"Yeah but then I got college to go to, and you get to travel the world and be a rockstar" I say
"Yes, and then we will both make good money for our future" evan says
"Fuck let's just live in the now" I say
"Okay amber" evan says

We then get out of my car and we get a lot of looks, then he wrapped his arm around my waist and we make our way into the school.
But we had a few more eyes on us then usual, and I don't understand why
Is there something on my face?
Are my pants unzipped?
Is there a stray hair?
Do I look fatter?

Oh yeah I just got out of coma?!
Well they need to quit looking at me?!

"Evan why are they all looking at me?" Amber says
"I don't know Amber maybe it's because you just had a coma and have a new bmw" evan says
"Yeah that must be it" I say.

Then I got a text from a number I didn't know

654- 3345 : evan cheated on you

Then I showed the message to evan.
"What's going on with this?" I say
"Oh, it's nothing." evan says
"Okay, I'm scared" I say
"don't be scared baby, they are just messing with you" evan says.

Then Opal sees us, and she looks angry,
She runs up and straight up Decks evan in the face, she got him right in the eyes and then evan screeches out in pain, and then she got on top of him and punched him in the nose and I heard a loud noise.
"Opal stop!" I say
Then I pull her off him.
Evan just continued to lay down on the ground and a pool of blood was surrounding him.
"What the fuck was that for?" I say
"He cheated on you, the little bastard cheated on you" Opal says
"Why is everyone saying that" I say
"Because it's true! He has been cheating on you with cara" Opal says
Then Evan got off the ground and I looked him over, I saw the fear in his eyes.
I then rushed to the bathroom and grabbed a big wad of paper towels and gave them to him and put them on his nose.
"Let's get you to the hospital" I say
Then Evan and I ran out of the school and got back into my car
"Keep your blood off the seats and carpet" I say
