Decoding The Message Of Amber

Chapter 17

"You're being completely serious right now?" Sebastian says to me
"I so am, I don't remember how to ride a bike" I say back to him
"you haven't rode a bike since we were kids?" Sebastian says back to me
"You're absolutely right" I say
"Why? You used to love riding your bike" Sebastian says
"Well" I say then look at the ground
"After you left I had no one to ride with"
He then just flatly looked at me
"I'm sorry" Sebastian says
"It's okay, it's not your fault" I say
"Well anyways, do you still have your bike? Mine is in the garage at my dads" Sebastian says
"Mine is at Debbie's I think" I say then look at him.
"Let's go get it, and go ride around the park this afternoon, it's getting warmer out, all you'll need is a light jacket" Sebastian says to me
"Sure, lets go." i say
We both then got up from the couch at my dads house and walked out the door and piled into my convertible.
"I hope your bike is clean so I don't get my backseat dirty" I say
"It's not Amber, don't worry" Sebastian says
I then put on my oval shaped sunglasses and I looked over at Sebastian and he had on his as well,
He looked dreamy today, he had such a simple style, and with him I saw myself dressing more simple, I had my hair in waves and I was wearing a striped crop shirt with some black high waisted shorts with dark tights underneath with some combat boots.
"Amber I have a serious question" Sebastian says to me as I'm driving to my moms.
"Sure spill" I say
"Who stole the bottom half of all your shirts?" Sebastian says
I then started cracking up
"What are you talking about? They are made that way" I say
"Okay, I get it, I was just wondering" Sebastian says
"You're lovely" I say
"Same to you Ambam thank you ma'm" Sebastian says
"Is that some sort of nickname?" I say in disgust
"It sure is, you're Ambam and im seabass" Sebastian says
"We're the lamest couple, ever" I say
"So we're a couple now?" Seabass says
"I'm not saying that" I say
"You just did!" Sebastian says
"Whatever, think what you want" I say
"Okay Amber! You're just afraid to admit that you like me! And all the time we spend together is the best times of your life!" Sebastian says
"See, I do agree to those things!" I say back
"Okay well then quit being lame" Sebastian says then smiles

God I wish I could like this guy, I wish I could forget evan, I wish I could move on, I wish that I could leave my old life behind but I loved every second with evan, I still very much love evan, it's not true, everything they say about how the best way of getting over someone is to get under someone else, it's not true.

"Amber I didn't mean it" Sebastian says
i then just paused, realizing I just got lost in my thoughts
"I know that, I'm sorry I was just thinking" I say
"Well, we're at your moms, so let's get out and go capture that bike" Sebastian says
I then looked at him and he had such a lovely smile on his face, I know me thinking about evan completely ruined the mood.
I didn't reply with any words, I just piled out of the car and looked at the two story home, i a lot of the time miss living here, I miss my old soundproof room, and debbie and Mason, I miss freaking out masons friends with my pet ferret, I miss debbie doing my hair for me, I miss waking up to warm breakfasts, and then I looked up and saw the tree house, and the memories of halloween night started flashing in my mind.
I could see evans face right before my eyes, and how it felt to completely trust him, and now things are completely different.
We then made our way to the front door and I knocked on the door, and no one answered,
I didn't see any cars in the driveway besides mine, so I got the old key out from underneath the gnome.
I put the key in the door and walked inside the home,
The insides were pretty much the same as well,
I look over and see the entrance to my old room.
"I wonder if they have changed my room around any?" I say
"Let's go look" Sebastian says
I opened up and it was completely the same.
The posters and photos of my friends were still on the wall,
The ferret cage has been cleaned and emptied
I walked over to the closet and some of my clothes were still hanging on the racks.
"It's the exact same" I say
"This is a cool room, you always put your own personal touches on everything huh?" Sebastian says
"Yes" I say back
"It's a shame your family isn't here, you probably miss them a lot, huh?" Sebastian says
"Yeah, I do, but I'm glad the wedding is this weekend so I can see them all soon" I say
"Amber, I'm really glad you're letting me your date to this wedding, I can sense how crushed you are, and I know it's taking a lot to let me in, and I'm just saying thank you." Sebastian says
I then just held him tight and a tear just poured down my face
he then looked down at me and said
"Maybe you don't want to ride bikes today?" Sebastian says
I then pulled away and looked at him,
"Sorry I'm being so weird, my life just has been changing so much and I want it to slow down, for maybe just a second" I say
"There is no use Amber, life moves on wither we like it or not, all we can do is grasp life, live in the moment and then embrace it, you're strong Amber, you have a big poker face, I get it, but you just have to move on" Sebastian says
"I get it Sebastian I really do, I'm sorry I'm being so lame"i say
"You're not being lame, now how about I give you a million kisses, we go ride those bikes and have a good afternoon? What do you say?" Sebastian says
I then shook my head yes to agree to what he was saying
He then grabbed me into an tight embrace and started kissing all over my face and I just kept giggling.
