- Sorry for any mistakes - A/N -

My eyes descried the soft white-gold light of the new day, the hues twirling with the rustling tree outside the window. I pushed myself onto my elbows, resting for a minute, and then sliding my legs to the side of the bed with a few grunts. I bat my eyes for a second, trying to relieve the heaviness from them. Standing from the bed, I make small tired advances towards the bathroom; hissing when my feet came in contact with the cool tiles. I twist the faucet on before taking a handful of cold water and washing the dry and sticky tears from my cheeks.
'Knock'
'Knock'
'Knock'
My heart leaps and I skittishly turned the faucet off.
" Y-yes! " I called out, stuttering a bit.
" Mrs.King is here, " my mother's voice emits, " She said she would like to talk to you! "
" Alright, I'll be out in a minute!. " I answered.
Quickly making myself presentable, I exit out the room and down the corridor to the living room.
" Good Morning darling! " Mrs.King greets from the couch.
I flash her a small smile and sat down on the armchair, " Good Morning. "
" I have something for you. " she tells me, digging through her purse and with a quiet ah-ha, she drew my phone from her purse.
My mouth gapes open, " How? "
" Sneakiness and sticky hands. " She smirks as she wriggles her fingers.
I grab the phone from her with a thank you.
" I wish to stay longer and chat but my husband is expecting me to be home. " She says pushing herself off of the couch and began to take tiny steps to the front door. After bidding us goodbye, she shuts the door behind her.
My mother exhales softly, " a storm is coming, want to come to the store with me? "
" Sure, " I agreed following her towards the door, slipping my shoes before we left.

My upper body leaned against the grocery cart as I pushed it down the aisle, it's groaning suppling the ambiance. My mother had wonder off somewhere, leaving me to scratch items off of the grocery list. I eyed the list to see what I have to venture off to get next.
" Rice." I muttered lifting my head to inspect the signs that hung above the aisles. I felt my soles come to a stop when I spot the sign that had rice and few other items written in big white letters. I pushed the cart slightly faster as I catch sight of the bright orange and transparent bag of the rice. I reached up to grab the bag but then retreating my arm back to my side when I noticed that I could not reach it.
" Sir! " I called out when I seen one of the workers pass by. I hear the screeching of his sneakers stoping before his head pokes from behind the shelve.
"Can you help me, please? " I asked pointing my finger at the bag of rice.
He gives me a cheeky smile as he makes his way over, " Sure! "
His feet stood on it's toes as he streched his arm to the back of the shelve and grabbing the bag of rice.
"Here you go ma'am! " He chirpes, giving me the bag of rice.
"Thank you so much! " I thanked him, sitting the rice in the cart and then scratching it off the list.
"No problem! " He smiled before leaving.
' Bing '
I advert my eyes down at my phone, my breath shallows and I taut a brow.

The sense of paranoia kicks in; my eyes bugged, panic-stricken, as they examine the surroundings hastily. I clasped my hands onto the cart and hurriedly push the cart out the aisle, leaving to go find my mother.
" Mom, " I frantically called for her when I spotted her looking at some female products. She looks over her shoulder; her face contorting into concern when seeing my panic-stricken face.
" What's wrong? " She catechized, sauntering over to the cart with a arm full of items. She drops the items into the cart and stares at me. With ragged breaths, I hoisted my phone up to show her the message.
" He knows. " I muttered, loud enough for her to apprehend the words that left my mouth.
" Well I think we got everything on the grocery list, " She sympathized, " let's check out and leave. "

My back rested against the seat after returning the grocery cart to the store. My mother slowly backs out of the parking space, looking into the mirrors to help her.
" Where's dad, " I asked all of the sudden.
" He had to take part in a meeting, but he'll be back tomorrow.'
" oh. " I hummed glancing up at the rear veiw mirror. My eyes squinted when I recognize a obsedian colored BMW; is Aiden following us?
" Mom, " I quavered, " I think Aiden is following us."
she takes a look at the rear veiw mirror before shifting her eyes back to the road, " Are you for sure? "
" it looks like his car. "
I nibbled on my lip anxiously; calm down, maybe you are just being paranoid.
' Bing! '
I nervously take my phone into my hand and reading the newly sent message.
