Chapter 23

Upon reaching their destination, Naruto felt nervous.

"Don't worry Naruto, he'll regret how bad he mistreated you." Sakura smiled.

"That's right, if he tries anything, we're both by your side." Gaara added.

Naruto smiled. "Alright, let's do this!" Naruto opened the door and was the first one out.

Out came Naruto, then Sakura and Gaara following behind, and then Kyuubi along with Iruka.

Both Itachi and Sasuke, along with Neji were shocked to see Naruto. He wasn't the 'nerd' he was anymore. There's no more acne, no glasses, and he had better fashion taste. And it's all thanks to Sakura and Gaara.

Naruto smirked and walked next to Kyuubi to show his respects to Itachi.

"It's been awhile, Itachi-san. Please excuse my rude absence." Naruto said as he bowed respectfully.

Itachi gave him a genuine smile. "It's alright, what matters now, is that you finally came." Itachi then gave Sasuke a glare.

"And good evening to you too, Sas-uke U-chi-ha." Naruto grinned a little more.

Sasuke turned a bit red and nodded. Neji sighed. "It's good to see you again Naruto, even if someone didn't wish to see you." Neji eyed at Sasuke.

"Oh yeah, here are my friends, Sakura and Gaara." Naruto gestured to them with a smile. He still had braces, but without the wire this time.

"Come inside." Itachi said.

"Alright!" Naruto yelled and followed his brother and Itachi.

"What are you going to do now?" Neji asked Sasuke.

"What do you mean? I'm going to ignore him, remember?" Sasuke said with a tint of red on his face.

"Mhm, yeah right. I saw the way you looked at him, and judging by your face, you like him this way." Neji finished.

"Yeah right, who in their right mind would mate with an ugly guy like him?!" Sasuke retorted.

"I didn't mention anything of you mating with him, all I said was you like him this way." Neji slightly smirked.

Sasuke turned even more red.

"Shut up!" Sasuke yelled as he pushed Neji inside where the others were, while Neji chuckled.

Sakura and Gaara were listening in on them and snickered.

This was going to be a long day.
