He Comforts You During Your Period

You tried to groan quietly as you rolled over in bed with your knees tucked towards your chest, in a little ball shape trying to get the cramping to subside. Your back was killing you too and you were in too much pain to get up for some painkillers but at the same time didn't want to bother Josh, who was asleep next to you; you knew he needed his sleep, plus, he looked too adorable to be woken up. "I'll just sleep it off." You thought to yourself while trying to get comfortable when you felt an arm wrap around your waist from behind, the heat from the body instantly radiating to you. "You okay baby?" Josh whispered softly into your ear, his raspy and low voice showing how tired he was and as you turned around to face him you wanted to say you were alright, only to groan and softly whimper in pain, Josh looking at you with concern. You sigh and shake your head no "My cramps are killing me and so is my back, I thought I could sleep it off but I don't think I can." He answered by kissing your forehead lightly and getting up, returning a few minutes later with a glass of water, the rice-filled sock you kept around for these kinds of occasions which he had placed in the microwave to heat up and your bottle of painkillers, handing you two. "Do you need anything else?" He asked sweetly, placing the glass on his nightstand after you had swallowed the pills "Just cuddle me, please." You answered, to which he got into bed next to you, opening his arms for you to get comfortable on his chest and you placed the sock on your tummy, the heat and his embrace instantly comforting you. "Thank you babe, and I'm sorry for waking you." You said, nuzzling your nose between his neck and shoulder as he moved his hand to massage your back where he knew it always hurt when you got cramps "Shhhh I love you and I'll do anything for you to not be in pain, wake me up if you need anything else, I mean it. Try to get some sleep baby." You kissed his cheek, said "I love you too." and lay your head where it was, drifting off to sleep.
