He Confirms Your Relationship

Josh and you had been dating for ten months and not many people knew that you two were a couple, most of those people being the other Now United members and your families. Rumors had sparked whenever you were spotted together and the fans of course went crazy but neither Josh or you had confirmed nor denied you being together. It wasn't that neither of you wanted to announce it to the world, heck, it had been the subject of a few minor arguments between you both; you wanting to convince Josh that you wouldn't care about the hate some fans could send your way but him insisting on "waiting a bit more" and you leaving it at that not wanting to make the problem bigger because you figured he just wasn't ready and he wanted to protect you although it did disappoint you a bit.

You were hanging out with him and his band mates at the house they were staying in Los Angeles for the time being, the boys were busy doing a zoom interview while you and some of the girls watched behind the camera. You sat between Sabina and Savannah silently chuckling at anything funny the boys would get asked and receiving random smiles or winks from your boyfriend, making you blush while the girls silently aawwed at you guys' cuteness.

"Bailey, you recently revealed you have a girlfriend! Tell us a bit about that." The interviewer said "Yeah! We've been together for a few months and it's going great, she's amazing." Bailey answered smiling "That's great, I'm happy for you. Sooo are the rest of you boys single? Is anybody else taken?" That question made the air in the room suddenly feel a bit tense while everyone in the room except Noah, who was answering about him being single, started looking between you and Josh although neither of you payed attention to them because a few seconds looking at each other was enough for you to understand what he was going to answer, feeling the disappointment rise in your chest making you stand up and start to make your way to the backyard trying to take a few minutes to remind yourself he was trying to protect you.

You were about to step outside when you heard Josh say "Actually..." to which you froze in your spot and turned around to meet his gaze, he slowly smiled at you continuing "I've been in a relationship for a while, ten months to be exact and they've been the best ten months of my life." You couldn't believe what you were hearing, you had been waiting for him to say something like that for months. "Wow! Ten months, so, does this mean you and (Y/N) (L/N) have in fact been together all this time?" The interviewer went on and Josh turned to look at the camera nodding his head "Yeah, she's incredible, I love her." He finished off his answer making everyone in the room go crazy and aawww while you still tried to process what you had just heard, your eyes filling with happy tears this time while you smiled uncontrollably at your boyfriend and the interviewer finished off saying thank you and bye to the boys.

Josh didn't waste a second after the interviewer logged off the call to go over to you, resting a hand on your hip and the other on your cheek wiping away a tear that was starting to roll down "You okay?" He asked looking you in the eyes to which you chuckled nodding your head and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him into a passionate kiss while saying "I love you so much." You kissed for a bit while everyone cheered for you two "I love you so much more baby." He said after you both pulled away, engulfing you in a hug. You hung out with him and his band mates for the rest of the day, Josh not letting you leave his side, both of you incredibly happy to be able to finally show your love to the world.
