𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑦𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑠 𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟 ☾

It has been five years since Amelia has last seen her little brother and the two little children that she has taken care of. She has no choice but to wait, and while waiting, she has earned a respectable position. Amelia is not a Section Commander like Levi, Miche, or Hange, her position was a special one, a Lieutenant.

Erwin told her that her skills in the medical field and fighting titans were a rare case, and an advantageous one as well, hence, her title. She was not tied into any squads, she does not need to lead and does not follow orders unless made by the Commander himself.

"Stay put! Do you want to get eaten!?", the said Lieutenant screams at a soldier.

Amelia hurries and patches up another injured soldier. The Scouts have held another expedition, and Amelia is doing everything she can to save injured soldiers, even if she's in the middle of the battlefield.

The blonde sees two titans coming her way, she gets ready to kill it but she hears the screams of another soldier and immediately looks at the direction where it's coming from.

"No!", the soldier screams. She readies her gear only for the titan to suddenly fall, caused by a certain Captain. Amelia nods at him and quickly grabs ahold of the soldier to prevent him from crashing on the ground with the titan.

Levi looks at her as she lays the soldier down, she met eyes with him before observing the soldier's injuries. She has seen death so many times that she doesn't care about it anymore, however, it still stings to feel incapable of helping someone in pain. After all, she is a doctor.

"He won't make it, the wounds are too much, he'll bleed to death.", Amelia says with a monotone voice. She looks away, not wanting to deal with the inevitable situation and proceeds to fly away with her gear, she looks for more soldiers in need of help.

She spots one soldier who looked awfully familiar, the man was limping before a titan. Amelia rushes through the buildings, flips and uses her gas to move faster. She attaches the wire to the titan's nape, charging it before slicing its whole nape off.

"Are you alright?", Amelia asks the poor soldier.

"I didn't need your help.", the man says bitterly. The girl didn't take this personally, it was common for soldiers to say that, especially when they are utterly helpless. Amelia snaps her fingers together before saying

"Klaus?", she calls the soldier, and the man called Klaus looks up.

"Oh it's you, great. Hey doc.", Klaus says sarcastically.

Klaus was one of the cadets that Amelia has trained with, but her training was cut short when Erwin came in and made a deal for her. She hasn't seen Klaus since then.

"We're pulling out!", Amelia looks at the direction where the voice boomed with a confused look in her face.

What?

The girl rushes through the buildings, only to arrive at the scene she left earlier.

"What?", Petra says with a confused face as well.

"Pulling out?", Levi questions the man he's faced with, "But we can still go further! My men will have died for nothing.", Amelia looks at the man laying on the ground before looking away with a frown on her face.

"A swarm of Titans has begun moving northward, toward the city.", Erwin informs them, causing them to widen their eyes from the news, "This is just what happened five years ago. Something's happening in town. It's possible that the wall has been destroyed."
