„𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚍𝚘𝚞𝚋𝚝"

Amelia taps her foot on the wooden floor, thinking if she should attend the short meeting that her Commander has called them for. She can't help but think about weird events that had happened to her.

"Ameliaaa-san! Aren't you coming in?", she hears a loud voice, Amelia looks at the culprit only to be face-to-face with Hange. She sighs before smiling.

I guess I'll have to tell them first.

She walks in and sees Levi, Erwin, and Miche already seated in the room. Amelia plays with the end of her gloves as she sits down next to Miche, while Hange and Moblit follow her.

"About time, we were going to start without you three.", Levi says coldly, pissed about the wasted minutes because of waiting. Amelia just bowed to apologize to them before staring off the wall, which made Levi raise an eyebrow.

Erwin proceeds to discuss strategies on the expedition while all of the Section Commanders listen. After half an hour, Erwin finally finished. 

The blonde Jaegar taps her foot against the wooden floor, faster than she usually does, causing Miche to hold her leg down from annoyance.

Amelia squeals before realizing why he did such a thing. Miche quickly lets go from the scary glare that he feels from a certain captain.

"Is there something bothering you, Amelia?", Erwin says. Everyone knew something is up, Amelia was usually the one giving assurances and suggestions whenever they would hold a brief meeting.

Amelia sighs and mentally scolds herself for being too obvious to read. She raises her hands up, gesturing that she was caught, earning a scoff from Levi.

"Just say it, brat."

The blonde doctor nervously tells them all what has been bothering her.

"I never had any experience in martial arts or any fighting skills, and I've never knew anything about a basement that my father works in too.", Amelia brushes her fingers through her hair as she lays her head down the wooden table, "I never thought of it that much, I just used it to my advantage. But since Eren.."

Everyone in the room went silent, waiting for her to say that she was just joking, but she didn't. Amelia can feel her stomach aching from the anxiety that they may turn her in the royal government, claiming that she may have titan powers. She closes her eyes, waiting for handcuffs or people holding her down, but it never came. Instead, she hears the commander's soft voice.

"Thank you for being honest, Amelia. We can't let other people to figure out your situation or else we'll have another Eren situation. I suggest you keep a low profile like you did all these years with us.", Erwin says.

Amelia's eyes widen in shock before tearing up for a little bit. She wipes her eyes before grinning at him. Everyone gave her a reassuring smile, which made her heart flutter in happiness. They all said their goodbyes as they walk out of the room to do their usual errands.

"I need a smoke.", she says as she takes off her gloves to avoid her gloves from smelling like cigarettes.

"Disgusting."

Amelia was about to leave before she feels a tug in her hands, the sudden skin contact made her squeal a little bit. She turns around and comes face to face with Levi, well a little bit, considering their height difference she had to look down. The blonde looks at him with a confused face, waiting for him to say something.

The girl looks down at Levi still holding her hand before looking at him straight in the eyes, causing the captain to let go, understanding her request. He sighs, thinking to himself as he crosses his arms.
