"Who could possibly stop it, if not Squad Levi?", Eren argues, waiting for his sister to back him up, like she usually does.

But his sister never looked back, she just kept facing forward. Eren watches them in disbelief.

"Amelia-nee!", Eren shouts for her attention, but to no avail. She didn't even spare him one look.

I can fight on my own.

Eren thinks this to himself, nearing his thumb to bite and transform in order to fight the Female Titan.

"Eren! What are you doing?!", Petra shouts in panic.

Levi looks at Amelia, waiting for her reaction, but she had the same expression as she did earlier. He has never seen Amelia in this state before, it sent shivers down his spine.

It was like she was so engrossed with her anger, she lost her sight of everything and everyone else around her. There was only one thing circling her mind.

Move forward. Get that titan captured. Kill the culprit. Kill the culprit.

"Kill the culprit.", they hear the blonde girl mutter, which shocks the whole group.

"Lieutenant?", Oluo questions.

A wide smile spread across the girl's face, a smile that only Levi can see. This expression made him do something that he didn't want to do.

The whole squad saw Levi's hand slapped through their Lieutenant's cheek.

"Amelia-nee!", Eren exclaims, in disbelief of the action that his superior just did.

Everything was clear in Amelia's mind, capture the titan. But shock spread through her whole body when Levi's hand came in contact with her cheeks. She looks at him in surprise before realizing what she has been doing.

"What the fuck was that?!", Levi sighs in relief with the girl's answer.

Meanwhile, Eren still ponders on the thought of fighting alone, since everyone was being stubborn, and in his perspective, unreasonable.

"Eren!", Petra desperately tries to keep the boy at bay.

"You're not in the wrong.", Levi says, which made Petra look at him confusingly, "If you want to do it, do it."

"I can tell. He's a real monster, and not because of his Titan ability. No matter how hard he's restrained, no matter what cage he's put inside, no one can ever tame him.", he continues as Amelia just looks down, she has nothing to argue with because everything Levi said was true.

"Eren. Our difference in experience is why we don't see eye-to-eye. But you don't need to mind that.", Levi says.

"Eren, it's time for you to choose. Will you trust yourself, or me, these guys, and the entire Scout Regiment?", Amelia speaks up, which made Levi at ease.

"Just do the best you can and choose whichever you'll regret the least."

Petra still went on convincing Eren, and after a few minutes of silence from the group, Levi got sick of the long decision making.

"Eren! Hurry! Decide already!", Levi demands the titan boy.

"I'll go with you!", Eren shouts, which shocks everyone, they did not expect the answer but they are relieved that he followed the mission.

It was heartbreaking to hear the cries of the soldiers being murdered whilst they just head forward. Amelia did not dare to look back at the scene, knowing that she might do something impulsively that could ruin the secret agenda of the expedition that she deduced on her own.
