JAMES POV:
I stared uncomfortably at my seat. I checked my card to see if the arrangement was wrong. No. I saw it correct. My seating arrangement was beside the person who hated me before he saw me. Yay!
The ' person' turned and looked at me. Then his eyes fell on my seating arrangement card and a wave of realisation passed over him. He glared at me while I stood there, extremely uncomfortable.
Em, noticing my distress, squeezed my hand and whispered,
" I'll sit beside him. You sit in my place"
I smiled thankfully at her as she sat beside him, her expression serious. He looked at her and moved a little towards his left. Em did not seem to mind. I sat down beside her.
Finally, the last people took their seats and the ceremony started. I blanked out throughout the speech, but broke out of my daze when they started giving us our room address and numbers.
I heard the anchor say,
" Sebinor James, Major: War and Leadership, Room 3388, north Wing, floor 27."
I quickly noted down my room number.
" Goth Emilia, Major: Medicine and Healing, Room 3489, north Wing, floor 26."
Emily's face turned red with annoyance as they called her by her full name, but she cheered up when she found out that her room was just one floor below mine .
After all the announcements finished, we were asked to go to our respective rooms . I rubbed my eyes and got up.
Everyone started filing out of the hall. I felt someone bump into my body. A small pocket watch fell out of his pocket. I picked it up and handed it to him. He said,
"Oh. Thank you....."
Then he looked up and his eyes widened. Great. Why do I bump into the demon prince wherever I go? He glared at me with murder in his eyes and snatched his watch away. He was going to say something, but his brown haired friend quickly pulled him away in the opposite direction.
Em made a irritated noise and said ,
" What's with that attitude? It's like you stabbed him instead of bumping into him."
I sighed ,turned and walked towards my room and said,
" Leave them..."
Em scowled at me and said,
" You are always too soft for a Alpha butthead!"
I raised my eyebrows and said,
" And you are too cocky for both a woman and a beta, witch."
I gave her a wicked grin as she punched me in my arm.
I went to my room and opened the door with the password. I got in my room and looked around. It wasn't lavish and huge, but it wasn't small and uncomfortable either. I admit it wasn't as big as my room back at the palace, but I liked it. It had two rooms, a bedroom and a small living room. It was quite spacious. The living room had a open kitchen counter, and the bedroom was connected to the bathroom. There wasn't much decoration in the living room, just a tv. There was a couch in the living room and the floor was carpeted.
My luggage was still packed and kept in the bedroom. I was in no mood for unpacking, so I just took out my pajamas and laid down on my bed and quickly fell asleep.
I woke up as I heard the alarm clock ring. For a moment I thought I was still in the castle. Then the day's event came back to me. I groaned and got up from my bed. I rubbed my eyes and did my usual morning routine. I took out a v-neck grey shirt and black jeans. I put it on and put on boots. I brushed my hair in my usual way and checked my timetable. It was a bit chilly outside, so I pulled on my favourite dark blue jacket.
I packed the books and checked my routine. Medicine in the morning, then war tactics after that fencing. We had lunch after that, then three more classes.
I walked down to Em's room and got inside. Yes, I knew her room's password. I went it and sat on her couch. I said,
" Em? You ready?"
Em came out of her room. She was wearing a tee, and no pants. I didn't mind, she was practically my sister and we didn't mind changing before each other. She threw her bag at me and said,
" Help me pack!"
I sighed and went to her room. She entered the shower as I packed her bag according to her routine. She called from the bathroom,
" Give my towel!!"
I sighed but handed it anyway. She got out of the bathroom and put on a shirt and jeans that stopped before her ankles. She quickly dried her hair and plaited it.
I gave her bag to her and we walked to the cafeteria.
We both quickly filled our plates and had our breakfast. We quickly walked down to our respective classes before the bell rang.
