The next day
The cottage looked like it hasn't been abandoned. It had our furnisher and pictures. Everything. Nothing changed.
"We should go, father. Or are you hungover?", she said.
"I can hold my own. Lets go.", I said.
We left the cottage and went to Slenders mansion. I knocked on the door. Slender answered.
"You're not welcome here anymore, Jeffery.", slender said.
"Listen, old man. This is serious. Jane could be in some serious trouble.", I said.
"Jane is like you. She can handle herself.", he said.
Violet went from behind the tree to Slender.
"Not when she's being controlled.", she said.
"Violet?", he asked.
She nodded her head.
"Come inside.", he said.
We went inside.
"Masky, check Janes location.", he said.
Masky went to the computers and we followed.
"So?", he asked.
Masky turned to me.
"She's not with the council.", Masky said.
"Where is she?", I said.
"Theres a problem with the connection.", Masky said.
I turned to face Slender.
"You think that they don't want us to find her?", I asked.
"Keep looking, Masky.", slender said.
Masky went back to looking. Violet to Masky.
"Track Niño Verñida.", she said.
"Okay.", Masky said.
Masky tracked Niño down.
"He's a... he's with Zalgo?", Masky asked.
I went to the computer screen.
"Is he or is he not with Zalgo?", I asked.
"He is but I don't see Jane anywhere.", Masky said.
"Ugh I'm going to kill that kid.", I said.
"Found her.", Masky said.
"Where is she?", I asked.
"At a hospital in Ohio.", Masky said.
I walked away and got stopped by Slender.
"Welcome back, Jeff.", slender said.
Slender handed me back my house keys.
"Thanks.", I said.
I left to go to Ohio.
