I'm so glad that I get to leave this cottage. Dad drove me to school.
"Don't talk to strangers or go anywhere with anyone.", dad said.
"I'm not a child. I know.", I said getting out of the car.
~time skip~
I had a few classes so far. I notice a girl in a majority of all my classes so far. I walked over to the girl.
"Hi, my name is Beau.", I said holding out my hand.
"I'm Lyric.", the girl said shaking my hand.
We talked for a little bit before the teacher came in.
~time skip~
It's lunch time. Lyric has introduced me to her friends, Andy and Ashley. Andy was the cool kid of our group. He had black hair half shaven and even though he was only thirteen smoked. Ashley was andys girlfriend and was the same as Andy.
"Wait, you were homeschooled?", Andy asked.
"Yeah. My dad got all protective of us and wouldn't let us leave.", I said.
"Your dad sounds like a asshole.", Ashley said after lighting her cigarette.
We talked and smoked all through lunch. After my classes were over, I went home.
"How was school?", mom asked.
"Good. I made friends.", I said stopping halfway up the stairs.
"That's good.", mom said then I went upstairs.
