Chapter 41: i guess this is goodbye

Violet pov
Dad has been gone for a whole year. No one knows where he is or even if he's alive. A week after dad died, mom found out that she was pregnant. Me and her recently had our sons. I named my son Austin and she named her Beau. Austin looked exactly like me and Beau looked exactly liked Dad. Some times the look of Beau was too much for her, that I needed to watch and take care of him. Mom looks so weak and sickly. She was fine the first couple months dad was gone but then she got no letters and that worried her. Today is Toby's and Clockys wedding. Mom came into the living room with her hair curled. She turned on the news. She really didn't care till it said Jeffery Woods aka Jeff the killer was found. She quickly grabbed the phone.
"Slender, they found him!" Jane said.
"I'm sorry, Jane." Slender said.
"Sorry for what?" Jane asked.
"They found him dead." Slender said.
Mom dropped the phone then fell to her knees and starting crying hysterically. I walked over to her and hugged her.
"It's okay, mom. Remember they brought you back after five years, they can bring him...dad back." I said.
Mom grabbed me and pulled me closer and crying hysterically in my chest.
"Come on, mom. Today is a happy day." I said.
I lifted her head and smiled.
"Smile, mom." I said.
She wiped her tears then smiled.
"You're right. This is Clocky's and Toby's special day." Jane said
She got up and got Beau dressed then her.
At Clockys and Toby's wedding
They did their vows in Slender's forest when the sun was setting. It was so beautiful and touching. The wedding colors were dark green and orange but a pretty orange. Mom turned to me.
"Let's go talk to Slender." Jane said.
We went over to Slender.
"Jane, Violet, what is it?" Slender asked.
"You can bring him back." Jane said.
"If I could, I would but I can't." Slender said.
"Why not?" Jane asked.
"His soul isn't in the human world or the underworld." Slender said.
"Where would it be?" Jane asked.
"I don't know." Slender said.
Jane started crying.
"We will try our best to find his soul but we can't promise any thing." Slender said.
"Okay." Jane said.
Mom went with Beau and went to Clocky and congratulated her and Toby.
