Chapter 50: good old times

Janes pov
We were at Zalgos layer hiding. We saw Hollis's girlfriend Lizzy trapped in a cage with Hellhounds biting at her. Liu heard Zalgo coming in to the room. He turned around to face Hollis and me.
"I'm going to distract him. You two get her out." Liu said.
I watched Liu leave but came back and hugged me.
"Be careful." I said.
"You, too." Liu said.
Liu left. Hollis and I went to the cage and tried to figure out the locks on the cage.
Liu's pov
I walked over to Zalgos throne and bowed. Zalgo stood up in his seat.
"Homicidal Liu aka Liu Woods. One of the Woods brother. How can I help you?" Zalgo asked. 
"It's not how you can but how I can." I said.
Zalgo got up and walked towards me.
"How's your brother?" Zalgo asked.
"Good." I said.
"I heard he came back from Heaven." Zalgo said.
"Yeah." I said.
"Do you still hate him for taking everything away from you?" Zalgo asked.
"He's my brother. I have to..." I said.
I heard a bang and so did Zalgo. Zalgo walked over to the cage and dragged Jane towards me. Zalgo threw her at me. I caught her.
"Well, well well. Looks like we have a reunion. Right, Jane? You remember both of you training to kill Jeff? Won't those the good days?" Zalgo said.
Jane turned around to face Zalgo.
"I remember and they weren't the good days." Jane said.
"Now, you forgave him even after everything he took away from you. I know that a tiny thread of your soul still hates him." Zalgo said.
Jane walked over to him ready to defend herself.
"Maybe there is some hatred but he made up for it. I have a family." Jane said.
"Really? Your children don't have grandparents." Zalgo said.
"They do. They are just not our real family." Jane said.
Zalgo heard an alarm go off.
"Close the gates." Zalgo said.
The gates closed.
"No one is leaving or coming in." Zalgo said.
Everyone there had to come in front of Zalgo. Zalgo turned to me and Jane.
"Now what should we do about these trespassers." Zalgo said.
Zalgo saw Hollis and went over to him.
"You weren't working with them? Were you?" Zalgo asked.
"No." Hollis said.
"Then kill them."Zalgo said.
Hollis took out his scythe. Jane and I took out our knives and stood defensively. Hollis walked over to us.
"I'm not going to hurt you." Hollis said.
He reached his hand towards Jane. Jane cut his arm.
"You work with him?" Jane asked.
"Yes. I'm sorry." Hollis said.
"Sorry isn't going to do it. You tricked us."Jane said. 
"I didn't trick you. Lizzy is my girlfriend." Hollis said.
Zalgo walked over to Lizzy.
"Hollis, this your girlfriend?" Zalgo asked.
"Yes." Hollis said.
Zalgo grabbed her by her wrist.
"Say goodbye." Zalgo said.
