Chapter 60: i wanna be like you

Jeffs pov
"Why are we here?", Jane said as I knocked on the mansion door.
"Something about Beau.", I said as Slenderman let us in.
"What about Beau? Is he okay?", Jane said as we followed slender to bens room.
"Beau is fine. It's just that he killed Austin...", slender said opening the door.
"Mommy!", Beau said running to Jane.
Jane picked him up. She touched the blood on his cheek then wiped her fingers on her jeans.
"That's not normal blood.", Jane said looking at slender.
"Austin was Zalgos child. A little went into beaus mouth and he has been saying feed me for the last thirty minutes.", slender said.
"Did you? You know feed him?", I said.
"Yeah, dude. But he kept saying feed me.", Ben said.
"What does that mean?", Jane said while still holding Beau.
"We really don't know. We wanted you here so we could take him to the council.", slender said.
"Then let's take him.", I said.
"We need to take care of Violet first.", slender said.
"What's wrong with Violet?", I said.
"After Beau killed Austin, she went all ape shit.", Ben said.
Jane put Beau down.
"What are we going to do?", Jane said.
"Erase her memory.", slender said as he opened the door.
"I'm going to stay here with Beau.", I said.
I watched slender, Jane and Ben leave the room. I bend down on my knees so I would be on the same level as Beau.
"Why did you killed Austin?", I said.
"Austin was a bad guy. I wanted to save him before he hurt anyone or someone hurt him.", Beau said.
I remembered how I thought that I was saving my victims when I first started killing.
"You weren't saving him, Beau.", I said.
"You saved grandma and grandpa and uncle Liu. I wanted to be like you.", Beau said.
"It's not a good thing to be like me, Beau. I've lost a lot of people because of it.", I said.
"I just wanted to be like you, daddy. You're my hero.", Beau said.
I hugged Beau then picked him up.
"Let's go see your sister.", I said.
We left to go see Violet.
