Awkward Encounters With Sisters

"Hey, Gilly!" I hear name called from behind in a very familiar voice. Anna. I turn around to look at my little sister.

"Hey, Anna," I respond lightly. She smiles and walks over. Now that is not normal. "Y'need something, little sis?" I ask trying to play it off like I'm not in shock that she's coming over. I can feel Jocelyn glaring at Anna from behind my head and try to ignore that aswell.

"I've a question for you," Anna said upon reaching my side. Our classses were in the same direction so we started walking.

"What's you question, A?" I inquire, still trying to keep my suprise from my face and voice.

"Are you and Prince Jackson dating?" She asks, and I almost fall over. Not only did my sister just address Jax with some royal title but she asked if we were dating. DATING! I didn't know what to say, I honestly thought she was joking, so I started laughing. She gave me a confused look and I realised she was serious.

"No, me Jax aren't dating. We're just good friends," I say, not wanting to say 'best-' because I was with Ollie and sometimes he would get all jokingly deffensive ans say he was Jax's bestfriend.

"Oh, really? Okay, then. See you later, Gilly." Anna said and dissapeared. Like litterally dissapeared, I didn't even have time to respond before she was gone. I could tell Jocelyn was still anrgy about seeing her. If there was one thing Jocelyn would never forgive it was a sister betraying a sister and no matter how times I told her I forgave Anna that's what she said she did. And I honestly couldn't tell her she was wrong.

"What'd the traitor want?" Jocelyn asked, pulling me away from my thoughts. She still looked upset about Anna. I don't honestly know why, I mean she talked to me not her and she wasn't doing anything wrong persay. She was just asking a question.

"She wanted to know if Jax and I were dating," I said casually. Jocelyn laughed. Not a mean laugh like the one I had become accustumed to before we were friends, the genuine one I honestly like to hear. I liked when my friends were happy, and my siblings. Even Anna.

"Did you say yes or did you lie to her?" Jocelyn asked me with a smirk as we reached her sister's classroom.

"I said no, a.k.a. the truth, dummy." I said with smile as I entered Harlow's classroom and headed to the back with Jocelyn. Maxine and Kayla were already waiting for us there. Jocelyn had conjured up two apples for the bowl on her sisters' desk when we walked in. I'll have to thank her for that later. Harlow sure did love her apples.

Class began and their teacher paid very little attention to her sister and her friends in the back of the classroom. Altough she did tell them off for getting a little too loud so that she couldn't terrorize the rest of the class with their group therapy which she had received a note from Headmistress Flora not force the group of four girls in the back of the classroom to do.

Okay, so that had actually been a little trick of Jocelyn's but what Harlow didn't know couldn't hurt her. Wilson squeaked in my pocket, an adittion I had made to my uniform myself. I smiled at the little fellow and patted his head. Maxine smiled at him too and then started off about how Peaches had eaten a page of her homework and she knew their Charms teacher wouldn't believe her.

Jocelyn offered to get back for her, making a comment that made it seem like she was going to kill Peaches to do so amd Maxine got upset and Kayla told Jocelyn off whilst consouling her. I couldn't help but laugh and the others joined me. When Therapy was over we headed off to Proffessor Sebastion's class.

In Charms we were met with an exasperated Ollie and AG and a bickering Jack and Jax. Ollie saw us enter and immediatly pulled me over to try and deal with the situation. I was, after all, the only one (other than their teachers) who ever could get them to stop fighting. Probably because I was friends with both of them.

Later that day Ollie, Maxine, AG and I had a RLW meeting and me and Maxine got there early.

"Hello there girls!" Came Raz's as usual cheery voice. "I suppose since your here early, you can get the news early! I can hardly wait to tell everyone. We're having a ball! And you RLWs- with my help of course -get to plan it!" She was so excited I almost didn't even groan. Almost. I hate balls and I know Jax isn't fond of them either and he has to go to a lot of them. Although, if he doesn't have a date he doesn't have to dance so he avoided it unless he had to bring a date- then he brought me.

We were bestfriends and I was fine with going with him when he needed me to until he got a girlfrend. It's not like we don't have any fun, we whisper about how dumb half the stuff Rose and Snow argue about is. And then try not laugh as Ella tells them so. We also both get along with Raz, her fiance Eugene and her bestie Cassandra (I did just make a  reference to the Diseny show about after the events of Tangled and I'm not sorry). Acording to Jax, Raz and Cass had had bad blood at some point but resolved whatever it was about and were besties again.

Eugene had been a crook before him and Raz became a thing so it was really no suprise him and Jax and I got along. And Cassandra was really cool. She was in the army and was raised by the ex-general whom she'd taken over for on occasion. She also knew Red, who was my mentor. Now more than before though.

Red gave me lessons once a week, sometimes once every other week or twice a week and we had gotten pretty close. Robbin was also usually there for at least part of it so we very friendly. He's a love really, I think him Ollie and Jack would get along. He might be a bit too much like Jack for Jax's taste though...

That's besides the point though, there was a ball. And we were planning it. I had been meaning to talk to Raz, Ollie, Maxine and AG about leaving the RLW's for a while. Although now, with Raz all excited about us doing something, didn't seem like the best time to do so. So I bit my tongue (not litterally because that would hurt) and sat throught the preperation talks and forced myslef to pitch in an idea or two.
