Everything Has Changed: A Jilly Story (FTRS)

Getting Raz and some information

**** Gilly's POV ****

We awoke around noon on Sunday and immediately set to work on our plan to defend FTRS from whatever Stiltskin has planned. We split up into the pairs we had decided on the previous night- er.. early that morning, I guess.

Regardless, we set off in our pairs to begin preparing; Jax and I went to warn Raz and the other princesses, Ollie and Kayla set to work collecting radishes from the school garden, Maxine and Hayley went looking for Wolfsbane, Jocelyn and AG went to the potion lab to make some protection and luck potions and Red and Robin went to gather supplies. (Robbin insisted on being considered part of the teen group and not the adults.)

Harlow went to work adding extra protection enchantments to the school's existong defenses after she got Flora to put the school on lockdown. Angelina was consumed with trying to gather conclusive information from Stiltskin's fairy book. Sebastion wanted to come with me and Jax to tell the princesses but settled for Cass escorting us instead.

When we reached the castles we went straight to Raz's glass one. (Her's was the glass one right? 🤡)

"Hey Cass- why are you two here?" Raz said, she sounded suprised to see us. "Isn't FTRS on lockdown?"

"Uh.. yeah. We wanted you and the others to come to the school. It's probably safer, I mean Stiltskin will think you're here and-" Jax started but Raz cut him off.

"If you think we'll be safer there than I trust you but I don't know abou the others." She said. "Rose'll probably come, but I don't know if Snow and Ella will want to come..."

"About that... we weren't sure if we should bring Rose with us..." Cass said, trying to see if Raz would be upset by that or not. She shrugged.

"I guess." She looked at me, "Isn't he after you anyway? Should you really be in the first place he'll look for you?"

Now it was my turn to shrug. "If he comes at me on my terf he'll think i won't know and I'll be there and ready to fight head-on. I'm not going to run away from him."

Raz smiled, "I wouldn't expect you to." She said and then agreed to come with us and attempt to convince the other peincesses to come to.

In the end Snow and Raz came with us and Ella and Rose decided to stay and hold up the fort in case Stiltskin decided to attack the village or the castles.

**** When they get back ****

It was around 2:30 when we got back ro FTRS, we had told Miri to let Flora know we were there so we could get in. We took a secret passage so as to not attract attention in case one of Stiltskin little minions was watching. We don't even know how many of them know he's back, or if they're on his side. I don't think he wanted to risk someone betraying him and telling us that he was back, though. So he won't have his full numbers.. well not right away, at least. I wonder what he'll do if Anna doesn't join him..? And I wonder what Jocelyn'll do if she does? Something tells me neither would be pleasent options.

When got there Angelina and Beauty were waiting. Beauty took everyone else to the pop-up castle, much to Jax's annoyance. Angelina and me stayed behind, and I knew what that meant. She figured something out. The question was; what did it have to do with me?

"I take it you figured something out." I said, trying to sound casual even though I was afraid. I wouldn't admit that I was afraid, but something tells me everyone knew anyway.

"I did. I wanted to make sure you want know, though. It's not... great news." She said, trying to read my expression that I didn't let change. My heart beat faster despite my best attempts to calm it. I felt my pulse quicken and put my hands together so they couldn't shake. If only I was mad.. then I wouldn't be so afraid... Angelina spoke again, snapping me from my trance. 'Do you want to know, dear?"

"Yes." My voice was definitive, thankfully, and she nodded. She placed a hand on my shoulder, took a deep breath, and began talking.

"Stiltskin is back. He's planning his revenge, somewhere in the hollow woods, I think. He's out to do what Alva tried to, but he's also trying to do something to your sister. I think he wanted her to rejoin him and she refused. I don't know for sure what he plans to do, but if you two are at the end of Stiltskin's rath it won't be pretty, whatever it is he does... He's going to try to hurt you before he tries to kill you, Gilly.. and your sister would be a pretty good way to do that. Espcially if he's upset with her anyway..." She looked at me. I felt color draining from my face and my hands shaking. "We won't let him do it. We won't. I just need you to help stop him. You might be one of the only two people who've ever tricked him."

"One of the only two? I- Wait- I didn't do it alone, it wasn't even all my idea!" I exclaim. I was freaking out. "And how the hell am I supposed to beat him? If he really wants to kill me I'm a gonner!"

"No, your not. He doesn't know we know, we're a step ahead of him. We just have to keep it that way. You need hide and we'll.. trick him into thinking someone else is you or something." She says.

"I will not hide! If he's going to kill me I'm at least going to chop one of his arms off first!" I say, my blood boiling. Perfect. She knew what she was doing, replacing my fear of Stiltskin with anger. "Thanks." I say and she nods, she knows. "Now, if you don't mind, let's go find the others."

****Stiltskin's POV ****

"We attack at midnight. The longer we wait the higher the chance the fairy will figure it out. I doubt she's done it yet, they'd've done something that'd make it obvious, but we cannot risk anymore time." I say to my Stiltskin Squad. The twins smile devilishly and the others nod. "When we get there, don't start attacking people from the begging. If they hand over the Cobblers we can wait to deal with others some other time. Or, even if they just give us the traitor. Her sister will come after her, she always does." And that's her Achille's heal. I know about her greatest weakness but she has no clue about mine.

****Nararator POV ****

Perhaps, Rumpel is wrong, perhaps is right. But as he prepares his troops he remains unaware of his enemies preparing for the inevitable attack. Gilly and her friends, aware of the looming threat, will not be caught off guard as the troll expects, but will he be prepared for this as well?

Gilly convinces Anna to hide somewhere Stiltskin would never dream of checking for her, or at least they hope, and prepares for a fight. One that may very well be to the death. They bide their time awaiting Stiltskin and his delpeated numbers. Meanwhile, Stiltskin assumes he has the upper hand.

Hey guys! Sorry there was much Jilly in this chapter but I had to move the plot foward and I don't think they would have been all lovey-dovey while they were preparing for a battle, they're more practical than that.
