Chapter Eleven

"Why..wha..why would he do that?" You asked Thomas tears in your eyes.

"That's Gally for you."

"What that supposed to mean Thomas" you asked.

"Just that he has these outbursts. He can't control them. Ever since Lydia died he's not been the same." Thomas explained.

You sighed and turned to look at Gally who sat with his head in his hands. "I think I need to talk to him"

"No sock bad idea. Ok he nearly hit you" he warned you. 

"Gally would never actually hit me Tommy" you said reassuring him. "I promise I'll be ok. I just need to talk to him" you explained.

Thomas nodded and you walked wearily over to Gally. He looked up and saw you walking over. "No y/n don't I don't want to hurt you" he said as you kneeled down next to him.

"I trust you ok. Can we talk?" You pleaded.

"I'm sorry" he said

You took his hand "ever since I got here you've been like a brother to me Gally and then suddenly you were going to hit me. I don't get what I did to ever make you feel like you had to do that" you explained.

"It's nothing you did y/n. It's me I'm not safe to be around"

"I don't believe that I'm sorry Gally but I don't believe you would ever really hurt me" you said while taking his other hand. "I don't believe for one second that you would want me to feel any pain".

He looked at you "y/n. What did I ever do to deserve a friend like you" he asked.

"Something angelic" you said sarcastically. You both chuckled and he looked at you.

"I'm so sorry. Your right id never want you to feel any pain. It's just with you going 'missing' I was so scared y/n. You remind me to much of Lydia I couldn't lose her and then lose you to."

You smiled wiping a tear from his cheek. "Well it's a good thing I'm not going anywhere then isn't it Gally. I want to give you a nick name" you smiled.

"That's random" he laughed "but ok what you thinking." He asked cheering up.

"hmmm how about Lee or Gal" you suggested.

He scrunched his eyebrows. "Lee works. I'll call you Little" he smiled. "You know because your smaller than me" he mocked.

You rolled your eyes. "Fine I'm going to fine newbie and see if he's ok. Bye Lee"

"Bye little" he smiled.

"HEY MASON" you screamed. Before he turned around in confusion.

He noticed you waving and ran over "hey y/n"

"You ok?" You asked

"I'm fine are you. I know with Gally hurting you" you cut him off "he didn't hurt me". You said with defence.

"Sorry I just meant with him shouting at you it scared me" he smiled weakly.

"Awe scared for me newbie" you said playfully punching his arm "don't catch feelings to quickly" you smiled.

"Well I'm not the one flirting" he mocked. "You got a bit of drool here" he pointed to the corner of his mouth.

"Oh shut up Mason" you said pushing him over but he grabbed you and you both fell down. "You idiot" you said.

"Hey you pushed me" he replied.

You both burst out laughing on the floor and pulled each other up. "I'm coated in mud" you sighed.
